I typically use Rapala silver minnow type lures (jointed, floaters, countdowns, deep runners, X-raps, etc) and if you put scented lotion on your hands and touch your lures you won't even get a nibble. I keep mine in a ziploc bag inside my tackle box. The liquid on the inside can be oily, so you don't want it to get all over if for some reason the bottle opens. Highly recommend!
