Bought for hammocking
These are great rings. I am using them for a hammock option, so I can't say how they will work for climbing. I bought them due to the reviews and they are everything and more of what was described. If anything, I could have gone with the smaller size as these rings are very large. Even with the large size they weigh almost nothing. I will be carrying four of them in my hammock set-up and the weight is negligible. They are, as I said, a tad bulky for the carabiner and I may opt for the smaller size later. The craftsmanship is awesome, with no flaws seen whatsoever. I bought them for the 25kn rating and we'll see how they perform. Worth every penny even if I switch them out for smaller ones later. UPDATE: 1/5/17. The link to review doesn't allow me to add a new one for the size small. I purchased both large and small and they are awesome. I opted to go back to the large with a larger carabiner, and will use the small for other activities with a smaller carabiner. Either size is ultra-light and I am super impressed with them. Fast shipping and delivery.

Works as advertised. Decent price.
I have two of these permanently tied onto tubular webbing as a rappelling anchor at the top of my redwood tree in the back yard. Saves me dragging my rope up behind me when I free climb through the branches. I just leave 200 feet of paracord tied off for pulling through the static rope.

Expected better from GM
The large rings unfortunately both have three rough spots (pictured) inside the ring which appear to be spot welds. Unfortunately, they are a bit rough and I wouldn't want rope or webbing sliding over them for any prolonged length of time. I also purchased the pack of 5 smaller ringers and they look OK.

Good Rings.
I am not a climber. I bought the rings to help me hang my hammock, which it did when I augmented my carabiner with it. The rings all have a very smooth finish with definite markings. They came packaged nicely in a small (I think) waxed paper bag for water resistance? Anyway, it was a nice bag. They arrived on time and I can't wait to find what else I will use them for. rated and feels very sturdy. I love the orange color
Inexpensive, rated and feels very sturdy. I love the orange color. It isn't exactly the same as Petzl's orange, but it is closer than the picture would make it seem (the picture makes the rings look look more yellow than they actually are)

Good strong.
I like this for a hammock. I took 1 star off because it comes in 5 packs. It should come in 4 packs or 6 packs. I have to use 2 rings per rope. So I use 4 for my hammock. That leaves an odd one out. Doesn't make sense.

Good quality and good price
Not sure how these could be bad, but I think the value for dollar proposition is all that really matters, and I feel like I got my money's worth for sure.

Hammock Suspention
Use them for my hammock for a suspension system. Quick and easy. Wish they weren't so experinsive for that application but from the YouTube tests they work better than D rings and a few other options. As a metalergist/ welder this are of quality, they are seemles. The coating will last a long time.

Ideal for hammock set-up
Now, I would never ever use these for climbing. They're not appropriate. However, I got them to use with my hammock for a quick adjustable set up in the jungle and they work great for that.

Work very well.
Used these for hanging a hammock (2 at each end). Worked very well making adjustment very easy. The small amount of slippage was stopped by using a simple half hitch.
