No chaos. And now I strut around the house like a sustainable queen in my midnight-soft glory. If you’ve got a faded fave, don’t say goodbye—say “get in loser, we’re dyeing.”

It worked well on a couple hats. One was blue and the other was distressed and now black

I bought this to make my dark blue cotton jeans black.....I washed them in the sink with relatively high concentration, and they still came out slightly darker blue. I tested it on a white cotton sock. Even THAT came out a dark grey.

I had a fading pair of black amazon essential cargo pants and shorts. I followed the directions from YouTube and it worked so well. Saved me from going out and buying a new pair of pants and shorts. I also learned that when washing black pants and shorts to turn them inside out before putting them in the wash to help prevent fading. Simple process, one word of advice, do this process outside, and wear gloves. This stains anything it gets on and is tough to come off.

Dye is always messy and kind of tough to use. I tried to use this to darken a garment. Unfortunately the results weren’t that great. It’s tough to get garments that have some synthetic fibers and that’s on me. Even the cotton fabrics didn’t seem to hold the dye that well.
