The 222 low strength purple Loctite is perfect for small parts that you want to be able to loosen in the future. It is the perfect strength for threaded watch bracelet pins. It keeps the pins from loosening and backing out but it is not so strong that the screw heads are stripped when trying to remove the bracelet pins in the future. With parts that are that small, even medium strength Loctite 242 is too strong and requires fairly substantial heat to loosen without stripping screw heads.
