Works very nicely for me to carry my camera using a Peak Design camera holder and two Grizzly water bottle holders for lenses on day hikes.

Great for longer walks and hikes
I first thought this was too thick. But once I got some accessories for it, I love it. I started hiking and it's perfect for shorter day hikes and beginning hikers.
