Amazing product , it works very well duality it’s amazing I still have it after 5 years , depending on your fingers it will cause prints on the screen, the appearance it’s see through.

A read a few reviews knocking this product. I like it so much I just ordered another. I am going to humble myself and tell you why I ordered another. I am a smoker, the price of a pack of cigarettes is ridiculous in London. So I started smoking roll up cigarettes. In using the protector for several days I noticed a stain developing on a couple of the keys. I came to the realisation that I have a super light tobacco stain on a couple of my fingers. My MacBook Air is only a couple of weeks old. I would have been gutted if I stained the keys on my keyboard. The stains came nearly completely off in using a bit of soapy water with a tiny bit of bleach. At the moment I have the protector soaking in soapy water with a tiny amount of bleach again. It has only been about 10 minutes, I am pretty sure the stains will be gone. On top of that it is amazing the amount of dust particles accumulate on the keyboard cover. I absolutely love it!!

I ordered the black cover because I wanted my MacBook to look authentic, without any designs, and I'm very satisfied. I was hoping for it to be slightly more secure as, although it does hold and stay in place, it is ever so slightly loose. but then again I won't be holding my laptop over my head so that shouldn't be a problem. from other reviews I assumed that typing would feel very different but for me there wasn't much of a change, its easy to get used to. the only downfall is that the light from the keys was something that I was hoping wouldn't be affected however most of it is obscured by the case. it is faintly visible around the keys but it definitely doesn't have the same effect.

I wondered how this would feel under my fingers as I type on it? I did have a similar kind of cover with black keys on it for some years, and found it again a few weeks ago after a long gap, and found it felt quite obstructive, so stopped using it again, also I noticed it was wearing out too, with the same letters going plus the space bar had a wear patch. This one, is a bit thinner stuff, and apart from a lovely colour change having the appearance of silver keys, it also feels fine to type on. I'm typing on it now, and though I can feel the difference in texture (its softer) it doesn't feel awkward or obstructive at all. Conclusion, I'm extremely happy with it. My computer had completely lost the printed letter N, D was also gone, and E and R were going. Now I can see all my letters again. I am a touch typist so in some ways it doesn't matter, but it made my macbook look very old and scruffy. Anyway, I highly recommend this cover! While the description of the 'Se7enline MacBook Pro 13 15 inch (2016 Version, With TouchBar) Unique Ultra Thin Durable Keyboard Cover Silicone Skin Macbook Pro Keyboard Protector (UK Layout), Transparent-Clear' suggests that the protector covers the Touch-Bar, the one I was sent does not. It's difficult to see from the illustrations on the web-site whether it's meant to or not, but the description suggests that it should be. I contacted the makers and received an incomprehensible reply as follows: 'This keyboard cover is only fit for the macbook pro with touchbar version, not means this protector covers the touchbar. If the protector covered the touchbar, then it will be affect use to touch and the touchbar can not be used.' That may be the case: so no protector should cover the touchbar. However, the makers went on to say: 'If you want the touch bar protector, you can buy the protector which is specifically applicable to the touch bar.' I contacted the makers for a clarification but have had no reply, The conclusion I draw from this is that there may or may not be protectors that cover the touchbar without affecting its use, but that this company's isn't one of them. Does anyone know of a suitable maker? PS After several weeks use, the protector no longer fits snugly: it's ballooning upwards over the space key. Useless rubbish

At first look and use this is a fantastic keyboard cover. It fits PERFECTLY - yes, I mean that - and the black is a true black so it looks really good on the MacBook. It's thin and doesn't interfere with typing, so all in all it would be perfect, but there is a problem on use. After a few weeks of regular use the silicone starts to stretch to the point where it gets baggy and keeps lifting whilst you're typing. This does not happen on other thicker silicone covers, but they are clear and after a while fingerprints start to show and even when washed they don't look as nice. So a mixed review, as it would be the perfect product if it didn't stretch and get baggy. Just needs slightly thicker silicone, I think... If you only want to use your cover occasionally this is definitely the product for you.

I'm giving it five star because it serve it's purpose well, with that said there are a few things I can comment on what I notice after 2-3 weeks of owning. The keys will feel plastic/rubbery to it. Typing on it will feel less effortless as the button cover well not compress singularly as it's a whole piece especially as most people will not press the keys directly on the middle. Fit wise, it does fit perfectly. Color wise, it is clear, but has a hazy look to it and you can tell it has a cover over it. Through this whole time of owning it, I do not see it getting dirty like how most pictures and video I have seen. The explanation I can come up with is that either people have stuff on there finger when using it or people oil compositing is causing it. My Se7enline still looks pretty new. Also, I don't see my my screen getting dirty from the key guard (probable got to do with my guard not being dirty. Overall, it keeps my key new vs. before I can see my keys getting shiny from the oil from my fingers and I have to wipe it to get it not shiny. Great addition, but not perfect.

Great protection and fits perfectly. Even works with a few keys missing.

Der Silikonbelag ist so dick, dass feines Schreiben gar nicht möglich ist. Für das MacBook sehr schlecht geeignet, da die beleuchteten Tasten nicht durchscheinen können. Resultat: Das ding nutze ich als reinen Staubschutz im Pausenmodus.

The quality of the photo is very grainy and fuzzy, not like the photo advertised at all. I'd post photos but sent it back already..
