XtremepowerUS Electric Fireplace Heater Infrared Quartz w/Timer, Remote Controller Built-in Wheel, 1500W

All I can say is WOW. I never had one of these before and wasn't sure what I could expect for the price (under $130 incl. free ship). The fireplace arrived via UPS Ground, from IL to N FL. It was very well packaged in a thick box with heavy-duty cardboard tightly put around each of the corners. No damage. It's Plug & Play - started right up, looks great, fan makes a little hum noise but not distracting. Comes with clearly and well written instructions and a remote control which does need batteries installed prior to use. Logs look real, beautiful display. The wood and craftsmanship is quality, no complaints. The actual measurements are slightly different from what is listed. Height: 23" Width: 28" Depth: 11" The power cord is about 6 ft long. The unit is a good weight but rolls very smoothly on my tiled floor. Photos show the unit just with the flames on, not the heater. When it is on, you can see the heating elements through the front vent. It blows the warm air out to the front. You can adjust the temperature setting which will show a digital display on the right upper corner under the vent. So far this is the best deal in town - I'd pay that just for the ambiance - and I've got a heater to boot! :) I will update this review as needed. UPDATE Dec. 31, 2016 -- I've been enjoying my little fireplace for a year now. Not just or the visual but also for the heating function. It's been doing great. Keeps my downstairs (approx 600 sq/ft area with high ceilings, in a 2 story 1,000 sq/ft townhome) at a nice 74 degrees during the cold days. It has an overheat protection and after running for 10 hours straight on really cold days, it shuts off for a little while. I unplug it and let it cool down for 30 minutes and it's reset. Runs quietly and efficiently, cheaper than running the heat pump. Still highly recommend this fireplace.

In all my years of shopping online, and I shop online a lot! This is the best purchase I have ever made! Before buying this heater, I did a lot of research online by reading reviews and comparing prices with different sites. I love shopping on Amazon.com because I never worry about getting stuck with a purchase that does not match up to the standards that were described on the product page. They and their affiliates have been very good with holding up to their promise of complete satisfaction! My XtremepowerUS Infrared Quartz Electric heater came earlier than the receiving date. The setup was easy, all I had to do was take it out its very secure packaging, decide where I wanted to put it, which was also of ease because it has rollers on the bottom which is very nice. I plugged it in, flipped on the power button and it was heating up my house in minutes! I love my heater, the Fireplace makes me feel so cozy! This feature can be on with or without the heat, I usually like mine on. The cabinet around the heater stays cool and it has a very nice rod iron grill that protects the heating element, this is very great because I have grand children that visit me. The Xtremepower comes with a remote and it is room temperature controlled so it will turn on and off when the room is nicely heated. The fan feature is very quiet and cools down the heating element for a few minutes after the heater turns off, so you do not have to worry about your heater overheating! I could go on and on about my purchase, but the added bonus is the price, which did at first have me a little worried because it was so low! But this heater exceeds all that I was expecting it to be and more!!!!!!!!

Arrived undamaged, overpacked in 3 boxes. Works very well, the blower is quiet though not silent. Looks better than I imagined, wood grain looks very realistic. The coals look great, the flames are okay. This one had the best price that I could find. I took a star off because the grill that you have to lower to manually use the controls can cut your knuckles if you don't place your finger properly. Other than that I love it, a fine heater.

This beautiful fireplace is used in a very large room with 10' ceilings and cement floor (2nd floor apt). It's looks and function are very good. I wish the flames were prettier, but this little gym heats this massive room beautifully. Highly recommend. Cons: you have to use the remote for operation (buttons are behind a grid), and it could use nicer esthetics of flames, but for Pros: the remote works well....just don't misplace it, it heats large spaces beautifully, the esthetics of the cabinet are very nice and rich looking. Provides a nice ambience to a room. Definately recommend.

I bought this less than a year ago. About 3 weeks ago or so it started to shut off the heat element. The flames worked but not the heat. It was suggested I take off back panel and clean out gunk that collected inside. I first spent 45 minutes cleaning metal panel with cue tips behind the grid covering it. It the heat came on about a day an a half and then stated shutting off again. I have taken 8 of the tiny screws on the back panel which looks more like a metal box. There are 18 more tiny screws to remove which I am not wild about removing as who knows if the time spent is worth it. I bought this unit as it was attractive, .and had a remote and most importantly was on wheels. I have been given the runaround as to how to solve this problem. It didnt even last a year. If anyone has this problem with this fireplace I would like to know how you resolved it as I cant make any progress with manufacturer or Amazon. Thank You Marianne Johnson
