Flintar LV-H133 Replacement Filter, Made in Taiwan, Compatible with LEVOIT LV-H133 Tower Air Purifier, H13 Grade Filtration & Activated Carbon Filter Set, Part Number LV-H133-RF

I’ve been buying these Flintar replacement filters for my LEVOIT LV-H133 since 2020 and they’ve consistently worked well. They fit perfectly and do a good job keeping the air in our home fresh. One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that, compared to the OEM filters, the Flintar ones are a bit lighter and not as dense. I included side by side photos in my review and you can clearly see the OEM filter (on the left) is more opaque, while the Flintar filter (on the right) looks thinner. Performance-wise, they’ve been reliable, but we do end up replacing them more frequently than the OEM version. That said, they’re still a great value, especially when we’re looking to save a bit. We tend to alternate between these and the OEM filters depending on our budget. I’m also genuinely impressed that the price has actually gone down since I started buying them as they were $39.99 back in 2020 and they’re now $37.99 in 2025. Nice to see a product get more affordable without sacrificing performance.

I finally found a way to continue to afford clean fresh air in my flat. I decided to take a chance and buy off label because the name brand filters continue to rise and cost making them un affordable. Within 2 Days I saw a remarkable change. I will continue to vacuum the filters every month to extend their time. FYI: the devices are what determines when the filters need to be changed. As soon as you hit the reset button it starts over for a six month period so it really has nothing to do with the actual filters.

When changing out my Levoit H133 filter with this one I did notice a difference in weight and thickness. The middle section carbon filter is definitely not as dense as the original from Levoit. Also, the filter itself is lighter. Just wanted to point that out so buyers can make an informed choice. Overall, the quality is very close. It is a perfect fit. But what caught my attn was the weight difference. When I held the Levoit filter up to the light it was opaque - I could not see through it. This one, I could see every line of the filter and the pattern of the carbon cutout. Having said that, it's a personal preference whether that is impt or not. I don't smoke, don't have a pet and am not really trying to "scrub" the air in my space. I have bad allergies and the apt I rent has a lot of icky stuff in the carpet, air, and a damp basement. My goal is to try to alleviate the irritants. I would say that if a person has multiple pollutant / allergen sources in the home, and you really want to get the most out of the air purifier, I would buy a genuine Levoit bc I think it is the difference between buying a high-rated MERV filter or a medium-rated MERV filter. For my needs, this will do the job. It is a nice filter and from what I've seen, higher quality than some of the others. This one seems above avg. I know the Levoit filter is expensive! But I have seen that it's expensive for a reason, because it is better. I will see how this one performs as a comparison for my next replacement.

Who knows one filter from another. Seriously, who can tell what materials are made of and it's quality. We can only assume. However, we do know the price point difference that plays on our wallet and that can be and usually is alot. Which is why I purchased. I can't tell the difference.

I am writing this review to rebut the comments of not lasting long. I have bought OEM as well as other brands, this is my second filter and lasts as long as OEM.
