USB Interior Car Lights

So enforced lockdown, due to Covid19, running out of ways to keep my sons (26&27), entertained. Came up with the idea of pimping his car.Bought these as mummies contribution to the great pimp up. Firstly they are excellent value for money. 4 different strips, means that there are plenty to make a statement. Easy to install. There is an incredibly wide combination of lights, something to please all passengers.There is also a wide variety of modes, now personally, I would avoid the flashing and blinking modes, whilst driving. Worked well with sons phone, he’s got an iPhone 10, so can only comment on that relationship. These lights although we used in a car, would lend themselves to many locations. After pimping the car, and son having a practice, the four of us, sat in the car, opened a bottle, listened to music, whilst enjoying a light show. These are great fun items. And before you ask, or think it, yes we do need to get out more, but we are shielding, so we take whatever entertainment we can.

Easy install and turns off when the car looks

The light set up, brightness colours etc are great. Plenty of cable to get them anywhereHowever the double sided tape will ONLY stick to metal. And most days there’s a lot of plastic in cars so I’ve had to try other methods to get them in place

The lights come with great adhesive tape already applied to them, making them super easy to stick underneath the dash and rear seats. There is plenty of cable attached so that they can reach everywhere in the car. The remainder of the wire that wasn't needed was easy enough to hide away under the plastic bits in the car, making any wire barely noticeable. The lights are great, and work just as well in the day time as at night- although, arguably they look much cooler at night. To be able to control the lights, you need to install a free app from the app store/ google play. Very easy to use, and connects via bluetooth very well. It is worth noting that the bluetooth doesn't come up as a device on your phone's bluetooth list, but will show as being connected on the app. There are loads of different colour options, and pre programmed flashes etc on the app. It really is amazing.

Quality was good and looked good aswel, but didn't give the effect shown in the picture. Installation was easy hide need to hide wires if you're not a fun of them. Fit was good too and grap was great. However for the value of money it didn't hold on to that price. Car batteries died a few time due to these lights. So you'd have to plug and unplug then when you want to use them. Which was a headache hence returned.

The lights are quite quick and easy to install if you know your car and where to remove trim pieces to install them or hide the wires. I personally had no where to hide it completely so have a bunch of wire in my coin cub.The adhesive struggles to stick under the seat for rear as it’s on fabric, again in my car.The lights are only really noticeable at night which is fine but just something to consider.My biggest gripe with them is you can’t use Spotify or play something off of your phone on a music service for the audio reaction mode! They have a bit where you can load up songs downloaded on your phone but you literally need the mp3 file in your downloads.. quite disappointed with that as I was looking forward to that feature. Still works with the radio but there you go.All in all, there are other light kits out there for very similar money that seem to have a power button, microphone and mode button all built in. I would seek that one out.
