This product is a life saver. It is NOT flimsy as others have stated. It is a well made product. Yes, it is light weight but it has to be to do the maneuver correctly. I dont feel the price is unreasonable because it really does work. I tried the Epley maneuver several times on my own and I was getting a little better. Then I found this device. It guided me through the maneuver and I found that I wasn't tilting my head correctly in part of the process. This device made me do it correctly. And it worked.....not immediately....when I sat up, I felt better but still a little dizzy. But as the day went on I got better and better. I feel back to normal now. They suggest that I continue to use it once a day for 3 days without symptoms. I will definitely do it. It takes about 3 minutes to save your life! I had vertigo for a week before I used this device so I'm feeling very thankful right now. I'm getting my life back. I'm a little scared...afraid it might return...but I feel better knowing I have this device to help me back to normal.

I used this once and it worked okay. I got vertigo a few months later and pulled out to use a second time and it broke! Cheaply made and not worth the money. Vertigo is so real and I have struggled to find a fix but this is not worth the money. Such a shame.

Great product! Won’t lie really glad I purchased it. I performed the epley maneuver a dozen times without this product and there was no vertigo relief. At first I thought the dizzyfix was marketing fluff but after I followed the products instructions, I only had to use this twice and my vertigo was gone. Two 30 minute sessions and I was feeling great. Seriously the vertigo I had made me miserable for 3 months straight. The dizzyfix is worth it!

I would first watch some YouTube videos on the "Epley Maneuver", because this little plastic gimmicky contraption is designed to mirror that which is said to help benefit certain types of Vertigo. Once you've familiarized yourself with the Epley Maneuver, then read the instruction booklet for this thing, then go ahead and try it. Watching the videos first helps you understand the nature of what the intention of this is and how it's connected to your inner ear. This is merely a plastic piece with a bead that runs from one side to another. It's attached to a hat you wear. Each day for the first week of using this, I was working on the right ear and my symptoms weren't improving much. There was a slight difference, but nothing major. It instructs one to wait a full week before using the other ear. It was when I used the left ear a week later the improvements to the six week long daily Vertigo I was experiencing started to lighten up. The next day of using this for the left ear the Vertigo symptoms actually finally went away. So apparently it must've been the left ear that the Vertigo was an issue for me. It was difficult for me to detect at first until I used this. One could have Vertigo in both ears, or the right or left. I continued to use this for days after but the Vertigo symptoms were gone so I stopped using it. A week and a half past and I was Vertigo symptom free, then the Vertigo started to creep back up again. It's like come-on. Guess I have to live with this. Picked up this contraption again and it helped ease the symptoms until it lightened and went away. It's been weeks now as of this review and I haven't had any Vertigo symptoms, so this did help greatly. The cons for this thing is that it's way overpriced. This thing works yes, but it shouldn't be more than $20 because the maneuvers can be done watching YouTube videos. The one plus this thing does that watching YouTube videos doesn't is that it helps you position your head properly so that the ball moves from one side to the other. They shouldn't charge so much for this though. There are people with Vertigo where this contraption is way too much money. But yes this hat thing definitely helped me greatly.

Worked well for me. Watching the how-to-use video first was helpful. Doing the Epley Maneuver at home in the past was a little anxiety-inducing, because of the possibility I might not be doing it quite correctly. I probably tended to make it a little more daunting than it really is. This device helped alleviate that anxiety. BPPV creates enough anxiety on its own. Anything that reduces the additional anxiety is a plus, in my opinion. Good luck!

The device does seem to help my vertigo. I used it once and didn't notice immediate results, however, the next day I had zero episodes of vertigo, which was a huge improvement over the last few weeks of near constant vertigo. So I do recommend it. Took 1 star off because whoever at Amazon packed this thing did a terrible job- they threw it in a regular flimsy mailer with no bubble wrap and the box was crushed upon arrival. The device miraculously survived the trip. Better packaging should be used.

The DizzyFix is understandably priced pretty high for what it is, given the niche market that it is focused on and the expected costs associated with getting FDA approval. That said, a few tweaks to the design could have made it much more effective. The device itself feels very cheap for the price you pay. 1. The clip that attaches the device to the bill of the included hat is too weak. As a result, the DizzyFix easily flops from side to side when performing the Epley maneuver because it doesn't attach firmly enough. As a result, the DizzyFix is rendered useless for accurate maneuver guidance. The device should instead wrap around the front of the hat to help stabilize it, or be built into the hat itself. 2. The DizzyFix needs a method of indicating if the bill of the hat is worn too high or too low. Otherwise the angle that you are guided to move your head can be off during the maneuvers.

I have had vertigo (this time) for over 2 weeks. I was bed ridden for the first few days. I had tried the epley maneuver and all it did was make me throw up. I was looking for anything and everything that was suggested. Supplements, patches imported from China, meclezine, sleeping with my head elevated, etc. When I saw this, I thought, “well, I’ve tried everything else, I may as well try this silly looking thing too.” I am so glad I did! I got some relief after the first day. The second day, I saw even more improvement and I have been symptom free all day today. ( yesterday was the second day I did it). I decided I would do it again tonight before bed. I had zero dizziness using it tonight! It felt like a miracle! I had vertigo in January and then again less than 2 months later. I would have tried ANYTHING to make it go away. Just follow the instructions and I pray everyone who uses it, gets relief. Vertigo is horrible. In my opinion, $59 is not too much to pay, if it works.

My brother-in-law recommended this aid. He always travels with one because he gets vertigo often after a flight. I found it helpful for my husband to read the instructions as I performed the various moves. My vertigo did disappear after a few sessions. However, I’d had vertigo for a couple of weeks so it may have gone away by itself. However, I am pleased to own this DizzyFix and will try it promptly next time. My only complaint is that the hat was too small for me as I have a larger than normal head.

This is an odd contraption, indeed. I found it surprisingly effective and this after only one (slightly baffled) attempt. I got out of bed with a full-blown Ménière's attack and decided to give the DizzyFix a try. Previously I’ve used the NHS method of sitting on the side of your bed and twisting and lying down etc, but I do find I need to have more than one go, and it’s hard to keep referring to the online video while doing it. Because of this, I thought the DizzyFix would be the same, but despite thinking I’d not got it right and would need at least a second try, it worked! It’s a bit complicated and I was glad I have decent muscles to hold the positions (while clutching the instructions), but well worth the work! I expect it’ll be easier once I get used to it, too.

I bought this as a desperate attempt at curing my vertigo but it doesn't work. :(
