Elmer's Foam Board Multi-Pack, 8 x 10 Inches, 3/16 Inch Thickness, White, 5 Count

these are some terrific boards with a multitude of uses for the photographer, the arts 'n craftser, the handyman, etc. it is great for mounting for a table top display or presentation, a collage, or even for insulating and cleaning up around a window air conditioner with dark brown(almost black) window trim... it insulates well and really cleaned the appearance up quit nicely. but, for our purposes, we used them for an art project; we wanted a flat black background for a small, original, detailed color print, without using a mat (as we did not want to lose any edges and celebrate the piece in it's entirety). wei first cut it down to fit the following 8x10 frame, which is a faux finish frame from Craig Frames, but one of the best i have ever seen... unless you touch it, it looks like a real, distressed, walnut wood frame; Craig Frames FM26WA0810C 1.26-Inch Wide Picture/Poster Frame in Smooth Grain Finish, 8 by 10-Inch, Dark Brown i then used an Elmer's spray adhesive to mount the print to the board; Elmers Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive, 4-Ounce, Clear ... the adhesive was easy to manage an even adhesion, without saturating and deforming the print. we are very pleased with the results (a couple example pics below) Thank you. :-)

These are great foam boards! I use them for my artwork and they work perfectly! The color is also a true black which is great and works for using paint sticks or markers on top. The boards are also very sturdy and do not bend easily, which is perfect for artwork purposes! Overall, for the prince, these are great and do not disappoint!

so nice to have this size, and in black. I needed to mount a couple of posters which have a dark color background. If I hadn't found these I would have mounted them on 20x30 white boards, which would be okay, but they look so much more professional on a board the right size, and dark color. Very happy with this purchase - they arrived quickly and in good condition - no dented corners, which can happen with foam boards.

Perfect size for my photo collage of 5x7 pictures. Holds up well enough to mod podge. Wish these boards were more accessible and at even more affordable pricing. stickers on the back come off easily and didn't rip the board. one star off because a few of the corners came in the package bent. Although the package they came in was ridiculously large. Looked like they were shipping me a body.

Got it for a project. Worked well.

Some of the panels were unstuck from the foam core. I glued them back down, though, and it worked fine. Great for mounting photos--I glued them to the foam board, did a coat over with mod podge, then cut down to size using an xacto knife, and mounted them to the wall using poster mounts. Nice solution to decorating a wall that I can't put nails into.

I bought these to use as a framing supply for Mill Hill cross stitch projects. You simply trace the back opening onto the board and cut it with a craft knife a TINY bit larger than the opening. Pop your stitching into the wood Mill Hill frame and push this foam board into the frame behind your work and VOILA! It’s sturdy enough to hold your stitched work tightly in the frame and I guess it can easily enough be pried out and pushed back in again IF you need to adjust your stitching in the frame a bit! Great value.

Came completely trashed. The corner is missing and the box was totally fine. Wth? It's not what i was looking for but was going to use it for something else and i cant even get a nice edge. Sigh....

True foam board sheets as advertised. It worked out well for my project.

Bought two packs taking account of the other reviewers' experiences of damaged sheets. I'm glad I did - in both packs, out of the 4 in the bundle the two which were on the outside of the package came with damaged corners, moreover, all the pieces in one of the packs came with slight markings. Luckily I could work around all the flaws and damages but quite disappointing considering the brand.
