This case feels incredibly solid and well thought out. The padding inside feels soft and solid, and the padding on the corners feels like it would genuinely protect a laptop against damage. There is also a lip on the inside you slide the laptop into, protecting the edges from the metal zip - a nice addition that shows how thought has gone into the design. The YKK zippers are nice, and go further down on one side for ease of charging. I haven't tested the water resistance, but it seems like it would protect it to some extent. The outside pocket is a nice touch, and has a good amount of space. It is a compact case, allowing it to easily be slipped into a bag with little wasted space. I also bought the RAINYEAR case for a family member, and the difference in quality and design between the two is stark. It is clear where the extra money is spent, in the materials, design, protection and compact nature. if you aren't sure whether this is worth the upgrade over a chinese generic brand, definitely go with this. The Rainyear is not bad by any means, but this extra detailing and thought makes all the difference

This laptop sleeve has excellent quality with thick padding to protect the laptop. It is sleek and has a useful pocket compartment. It is delivered in perfect condition.

Purchased another two Tomtoc cases to protect 2-in-1’s; a 10” and 12”. Both fit great, just about perfectly, inside their cases with keyboards attached. The smaller case was advertised as fitting 10-12” tablets so i was concerned it was going to be too big for the smaller 2-in-1. Have another two Tomtoc cases for 13” laptops and while the dimensions of the cases are the same, the 13” laptops will not fit the new case without forcing the edges of the case around them. This is because the new case has reinforced corners so they are more rigid and more difficult to fudge if your gadget/s don’t fit comfortably inside the case. Great products!! Recommended for all gadgets like tablets, 2-in-1s, laptops, to seriously protect them. They are slim so they fit about everywhere except maybe tablet pockets. I have two tablet pockets in my backpack and all the cases fit in the larger tablet pocket but none fit in the smaller pocket. Would like to see more Tomtoc sleeves available for smaller tablets/2-in-1s it was difficult to find the one that I did. Fortunately have not had to test the water resistance. These are the best cases I have ever used for my gadgets, regardless of budget. Was formerly a Brenthaven user but their products seem to have gone to crap. Pelican portable cases seem like they were designed to work on the moon (and maybe they were).

I love this sleeve. Every time I get a new laptop, I buy this exact one. I have one for my work laptop and one for my personal laptop. It’s made from a high-quality outer shell with an equally nice inner lining that’s velvety soft and keeps expensive devices safe. The sleeve is padded on all sides, so no matter what angle you drop it from (and I have), your laptop stays secure. If you have a favorite bag that doesn’t include a padded laptop compartment, this will quickly become your best friend. It also features a generous front zippered pocket for chargers, hard drives, and cables. Check out my video to see the capacity—you can easily fit a full-size charger, multiple cables, and external hard drives. A couple of other things I love about this case: it’s easy to clean (just a damp cloth with a little soap), and it’s incredibly durable. I bought my first one almost 10 years ago, and it’s still going strong. The zipper action is still flawless. For reference, the sleeve in my video is holding a 2025 13-inch MacBook Air, but I have the same sleeve for a 13-inch MacBook Pro, and it fits both beautifully. I can’t recommend this sleeve enough.
