It arrived in perfect condition. Smells so good! Tastes even better. Rinsed twice as suggested, very clean. I just had a small bowl of it with Yondu vegetable umami sauce. Yummy! I cooked two cups to use for fried rice and other things. I found my "go to" rice. It was easy to cook and came out perfectly. Nice long grains, not sticky.

I bought this Basmati rice several times. Quality, taste and aroma are very good. Real authentic basmati rice from India is my favorite.

Some months ago I found Khazana Rice on a lonely shelf at my local market. There was only one small bag left and because we were still in the middle of the very popular Dr. Fauci shutdown, it was the only actual bag of rice on the shelf, The rest were a few boxes of expensive flavored rice, or Minute Rice. I had never heard of it before so I picked up the Khazana. From my first experience I said to myself, this is "Rice from the Gods"! Well of course I had no idea who the God of Rice might be or had been, but if there is/was one, this is his or hers (sorry, that's as far as I go with pronouns). Lo and Behold I found that there is indeed a God of Rice. AND, I needn't have been so concerned about a pronoun because INARI is both Female and Male! Don't even ask about the other 50 or 70 genders, I just assume Inari is all of them. Must certainly be a heavy weight to bare for a God, with a sack of rice riding on the back of a fox just to make sure the rice we get is the best. Well Inari has done an exceptional job, and Khazana Rice has to be Inari's favorite! I had read about rice on store packages as being "long grain" before, but this was the first time I saw the term "Extra Long Grain". Long grain rice I had been used to was like, I don't know maybe 3/16"+ long. I liked the Long Grain because it seemed like more of a meal while the regular (what is regular?) seemed almost like Grits sometimes. Khazana Extra Long grain Rice is 'Elegant" when served on the table! The grains are a brilliant white (like a 6:00 PM TV News anchor's teeth!), and they are at least twice as long as other rice. The few times that I have served it to my guests, they have used that very term, Elegant! I bought this 10lb package because for some reason, it has disappeared from at least 3 of my local markets! Dr. Fauci? Putin? And I'm certainly not privy to any supply chain issues that are currently being felt. I sure hope President Biden sees this review. I do think he must like rice as it's a lot like ice cream only way warmer. Perhaps the President can sign an executive order, and soon this rice will be back on our market shelves! Let's hope America.....

This is very good rice. It is a step up from rice you'll find at Kroger, etc. Including Mahatma Basmati. If you buy it, don't be surprised that it is off-white, unlike supermarket brands. That is the natural color. The supermarket brands have been bleached. Purchase this and support the poor people in Nepal who are harvesting it.

Only the first time I ordered, I bought the 2 lbs bag to try it and was amazing, I even recommended it to my mom and sisters. and now I just received my second order yesterday for a 10 lbs bag and it’s the worst rice I’ve ever seen! Smells absolutely awful & Looks like it’s been sitting in their warehouses for the longest time! This is very deceiving! To have the best rice in your smallest bag but the worst (that cannot be returned) rice in a more expensive offer is just wrong! This should be refunded immediately as I’m dumping the whole bag in the trash! I should have believed the other reviewers! Previous review (for 2 lbs bag) Excellent quality with the best basmati rice fragrance. It was recommended by a food blogger and I am so glad I followed her recommendation and ordered it. It’s fluffy and the grain is pretty long. I have already recommended it to family as well! Will be purchasing more soon!
