Works great on Qualcom phones/tablets
Worked perfectly on my ZTE TREK 2 (K88). To download the drivers, I had to plug the cable into the tablet, hold down the button on the cable and plug the cable into my laptop while still holding down the botton. Hope that helps someone.

Fixed my bricked phone!
Phone got stuck on Qualcomm Crash dump mode after using the android 14 version YAAP custom rom, it kept booting to that despite holding down the buttons to go into EDL mode, used this cable while running MSMdownload tool for my Oneplus 7T and it was able to connect and flash stock rom! Was wary of the negative reviews but worked as intended in my use case, here's the steps: 1. Plug cord into computer via USB-A 2. Run MSM Tool while booting 3. Phone should be recognized by MSM tool and start doing it's thing 4. Wait for the proccess to finish and phone should reboot to stock Might take a bit for phone to start given that it's booting for the first time, but i'm back on stock rom and phone is back to normal, avoiding YAAP custom rom like the plague.

Successfully enables EDL, but you need a separate cable to actually push the update.
First of all, this cable is only compatible with Qualcomm phones. If you have a Unisoc or Mediatek processor, you don't need this product. To get your phone into EDL mode, hold the power button, volume up, volume down, and the button on the cable. Wait until your screen goes dark, then wait another five to six seconds. I found that Windows did not recognize this cable, but it still pushed my phone into EDL. Once you've initialized EDL mode, use a separate cable (either Micro-USB or USB-C depending on your phone) to actually get your phone to show up in Device Manager and QFIL.

Doesn't work with Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (SM-T500)
I don't fault the vendor here. It might work fine on other devices, but AFAIK, it does not work on the SM-T500. Instead, I fault the platform. As an early adopter of Samsung Android phones and a convert to an iPhone 11 five years, ago, I don't know what came over me to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 three years ago except it was cheap for a 10 inch tablet ($150 at Sam's). I should have recalled the hassles with the Galaxy S3, S5 and S7 phones I had before. But I've never experienced a hard brick like I have with this. I've had my iPhone 11 for 5 years and it still runs perfectly. After very light use of this Tab A7 (maybe once a week), it hard bricked itself about three weeks ago. Downloaded Odin, downloaded Frija to find the correct firmware and downloaded the Qualcomm drivers when not of those fixed the issues. Why does Samsung not provide the firmware to their devices and force me to do downloads using a rather sketchy approach? Not a great customer experience. I will NEVER buy an Android device again. And I will NEVER buy a Samsung product. Do yourselves a favor and steer clear of Samsung and Android devices. Life is just too short.
