Excellent game for kids
I can’t recommend this game enough. It’s not just mindlessly throwing dice, it’s a really elegantly designed cooperative strategy game that is super engaging for our four year old. We played it five times in a row straight out of the box! Very intuitive rule set and rewards cooperation and communication. When you stop the monsters taking the castle it feels like a genuine shared accomplishment.

Excellent kids game
A brilliant board game. We bought this for our daughter just before her 5th birthday and has had lots of plays. Unlike most games for this age range a little bit of skill is involved and each go has some variation. Most other games are all the same with just the theme changing. Roll a dice, move the number of squares and move onto the next player etc etc this one has a bit more to it. It's a very good game to help children to play as a team and use simple strategies. No matter how many players there are you always work together as a team.

Great playing with kids 4+
I play a lot of games with my son (4 yrs) and he loves to play this. The best thing about this game is working together, I can feel it has helped him bond with me as we work as a team to fight off hordes of enemies. He comes up with solutions and beams with pride at his ideas. As an adult I also enjoy this game though wish it was a little more varied as it may feel a bit repetitive in time but for a dad and son game it is spot on.

Team game, you against the board!
Purchased this for myself and my Grandchildren to play and love the fact that we play as a team against the board and that there are no individual winners. Happy with my purchase. Nice quality.

Mini Castle Attack
Brilliant introduction to the idea of monster battling and co-op game play.

Great game
Brilliant game. Easy to learn and fun to play. I luke that its difficulty can be changed. Playing this cooperative game has meant lo is playing for the fun of playing not just the winning. Our discussions about what moves to make has also improved los speech. I would love to see lo play with other children as I think even more learning would happen then.

Great gateway game for younger kids.
Brilliant gateway game for younger kids. We play this with our 2,4 and 6 year olds (with a little help) and they absolutley love it. The only very slight observation is that you really need to sleeve the cards if you want this game to survive any length of time. Little hands and thin (not flimsy) cards aren't the best combination.

My First Castle Panic is a fantastic introductory board game for young kids. It’s easy to learn, quick to play, and encourages teamwork since everyone plays together to protect the castle. The colorful design and simple rules make it fun and engaging without overwhelming younger players. A great way to build basic strategy skills and cooperation at the same time.

Not a reflection of the game. Rather, my experience and either the manufacturer's or Amazon's storage issue. Opened my brand-new, sealed box to find mold in it. There's just no way I'm touching it or placing it anywhere near my game library. Returned it immediately.

My kids, who are 5 and 7, absolutely love it. It is the right level of difficulty where we win basically every time but only by a little.

I play with my two and four year olds. My two year old doesnt understand what he is doing but he is just happy to join in a Big Kids game. My four year old loves this game and loves throwing the defeating ogres into the dungeon i.e. "inside the box." I recommend card sleeves for the cards because they will get abused by the kids.
