Lotta Body Setting Lotion, 15 Ounce

This setting lotion works well if you want your curls or style to hold without your hair feeling overly crunchy. I used it for styling, and it gave my hair more shape and control. A little goes a long way, so I wouldn’t overdo it at first. The scent is noticeable but not bad, and the product has that classic setting-lotion feel. It helped with frizz and gave my style more structure. I think it’s especially useful for roller sets, wraps, curls, or styles where you want hold but still want the hair to move. For the price, it’s a solid product and does what it’s supposed to do.

I didn’t know they still sold this product that I use to use until I saw someone mention it on Facebook so I knew Amazon would have it. My hair had gotten so dull from a perm and since I roller set I thought I’d try this again because I used it years ago and I’m so happy I found it. It’s light, it gives your hair a really really nice sheen and I’ll continue to order it .

So very glad that I purchased the setting lotion. It was the piece the resistance that my hair needed in order to hold a curl.

I don't know how I happened upon this MIRACLE, but OH how I wish I had done so years ago! Over the years, I have paid a king's ransom on perms, body waves, fancy heated (and non heated) curler sets, curling irons, lotions, potions and devices! Why? Because I was born with perfectly straight hair. You know -the kind that curly or curly-ish haired people are paying a king's ransom to have these days? (Brazilian blowouts, Keratin Treatments, etc.) Well, neveryoumind what's hot/fashionable -- I will ALWAYS want CURLY hair! And FINALLY! The hair fairies have granted my wish! And HOW! - After washing, conditioning and blotting my fairly thick but very fine, shoulder-length hair, I followed the instructions on the bottle and mixed 1/3 Lottabody to 2/3 water in a small bowl and gave it a good stir. I then combed my damp hair into various (pitiful) sections and rolled each onto a sponge roller. Not the pink foam rollers with the plastic (built-in) clips, I use the kind that look like a mouse pillow with wings that were popular in the 80s. (and probably the 50s for all I know) These are difficult to fasten in place and I guess this is why they aren't easy to find these days. But they are SOFT and easy to sleep on. I guess you could also use bobby socks, like my mom did. - Ah! But I digress! (Forgive!) - So I spent the familiar 20-30 minutes (give or take) rolling my damp tresses around each mouse pillow, carefully applying the Lottabody mixture to each section by dipping my comb into the bowl and then combing through each section before rolling. I slept pretty well for a person with her hair tied in various and sundry clumps of spongey mouse pillows (some with bobby pins attached for added "security.") - And although my hair did NOT completely dry during the night (does yours?) in the morning, I used a blow dryer on whatever clumps were not completely dry (that would be ... all of them) and presto! Feeling confident that it was safe to do so, I unrolled each section, one by one, like I've SO many, many, many times before. - Only THIS TIME, the curls stayed! And stayed and stayed! SO strong were these curls, that I didn't feel the need to apply hair spray! And my HAIR WAS SHINY and BOUNCY for two full days. - Curly and far thicker than usual for 4 days! - Never in all my days has my hair held a curl for longer than half a day at BEST. Not even when I had a strong perm! I decided to stop getting perms or putting any kind of serious salon type chemicals on my head years ago because I think those chemicals are harmful to this earth and its inhabitants. - I also never wanted to worry ever again about swimming in the ocean or in a swimming pool and emerging from said body of water with damaged hair. - So this product is my gift from God! My complete and utter M.I.R.A.C.L.E.!!!!! It gets an AWESOME sticker in my book! (Photos are of my curls on days 2 and 3!)

Great for setting overnight curls

The bottle was open but my hairdresser uses this on my hair I like it smells good but I thought it be a bigger bottle

My thin, dry hair would be utterly flat without this setting lotion. It helps hold uplift between shampoos and doesn't have any negative effect on my hair or scalp.

El producto ya lo había usado,es la primera vez que lo pido por Amazon. El producto es excelente,reaviva los rizos sin dejar el cabello tieso,si usas al lavar el cabello una buena mascarilla y luego pones este producto en el cabello limpio y húmedo el resultado son unos rizos definidos,sueltos y con movilidad.

El producto es muy bueno. Aunque he de decir que no me gustó nada que me hicieran ir cuatro veces a un punto de correos express..el servicio de amazón ante este hecho fué impecable.

Für meine feinen Haare und meine Wasserwelle das Beste. Kein verkleben, KEIN Beschweren UND Spannkraft! Mehr will man nicht, mehr braucht man nicht. Der Glanz bleibt auch erhalten, für jeden der Plex-Produkte benutzt. Bis jetzt nichts besseres gefunden. Knappe 500ml sind mehr als fair zu dem Preis. Kein bescheuerter Geruch!
