Drills for an awesome young man.
I have an amazing 6th grade Godson. He is a black belt, a star pitcher, and a huge Dogers fan. Only so many Jersey's and hats you can make a kid feel appreciated with. So I gave him my old bamboo fencing sword and got him this book to drill with. He has that kind of discipline. Kid continues to amaze me. I wish my boys were of the moral quality he is. He appreciated the gift.

An excellent supplement
This book performs its function perfectly, as a supplement to iaido or kendo training, not as a comprehensive guide to these other arts. The drills are excellent, the illustrations clear and concise, especially to a proponent of the art. The book is NOT a stand-alone manual to any specific art, and shouldn't be read as such. For something like that, try "Kendo:The Definitive Guide" or Suino's "The Art of Japanese Swordsmanship;" both of these are as close as I've found to "definitive" works.

So basic
Compare my expectation...the contents are not enough for various drill...It's for just basic drill. More preview the book inside can help customer choose the right books.
