Good Grips Kitchen Appliance Cleaning Set

I bought both this "OXO Good Grips Kitchen Appliance Cleaning Set" and the "Good Grips Deep Clean Brush Set" to tackle some serious spring cleaning. Does anyone else get motivated when you've got new tools to play with? Anyone?? May be it's just me... anyway, Covid has meant a whole heck of a lot more cooking at home for the past year, and my kitchen was showing signs of the use (and abuse). I'm recommending that you skip the *other* set, and get this one. It has the same large brush as this one, but without the curved scraper on the opposite end. The stiffness of this brush is somewhere between 'stiffer than a vegetable brush or toothbrush and not as stiff as a grout or dish brush'. The second tool in this set has a super scrubber brush (I think you could scrub the skin off an apple with this thing) and a straight cleaning tool which is similar to the curved cleaning tool on the first brush. It's great for getting crud you can't even see along the edges and in the tight crevices around the kitchen. The second tool in the other set is worthless to me. So, one tool that has only half the use as the one in this Appliance Cleaning Set- and the other is useless. Not exactly a bargain. Spend $2 more on THIS set and get far more value since it can handle more tasks. As a bonus, I love that I can clip them together for storage. I'm not sure why they chose to designate this one as 'Appliance Cleaning' because I found it to be useful all over the kitchen. Especially around the sink & faucet!

This works perfect for those hard to get areas with a bigger brush.

Works as should

I absolutely love the loop brush in this set. I find myself using it on a regular basis for many items with corners that otherwise require a cloth-covered screwdriver or knife to clean. I often use the little plastic scraper, too. The angled brush doesn't reach as well as a good old toothbrush for me. I wish the loop brush was available on its own. I've gone through a couple of them, but the other brushes are still mostly unused and practically new.

There are so many tight areas and nooks and crannies found in and on small and large kitchen appliances and this set of two tools with four different heads (two brushes and two scrapers) help keep them clear of build-up of dust, spilled food, batter, coffee grounds, grease, etc. Regular-size brushes and cleaning implements do not fit every opening but these help fill the void. Avoiding damage is a concern around surfaces but particularly with electrical/mechanical items and non-stick surfaces. Some items the set has effectively helped keep debris free are the coffee burr grinder, blender blades, waffle iron, griddle, stand mixer, around knobs on cabinets and small electrics, refrigerator, stove top, microwave oven even the washer and dryer nooks all have so many crevices, nooks and crannies. Sponges, brushes and scrubbers are replaced with use, and this set will be no different but they are sturdy and have this brand’s usual user-friendly attributes like matte silicone-type coating grip so they can be held firmly even if wet and piece to connect the tools together for storage so they are easy to locate in a drawer or under the sink. Great utility.

This is a great little set. The clip is nice, keeps them together well. The clip feels like it last a long time. I can recommend them comfortably.

These OXO Good Grips cleaning brushes have become essential for all the finicky little jobs that regular sponges and cloths just can’t handle — waffle irons, coffee grinders, tight appliance seams, you name it. Great product. We have some little giant waterers and it does a great job cleaning all the nooks and edges. It took years to find the right tool for the job!!! If I could give it more stars I would!!
