Whittard of Chelsea Tea English Breakfast 50 Traditional Teabags

My Favorite English Breakfast Tea for many years. No tannic acid aftertaste.

One bag makes a whole pot

I fell in love with Whittard’s tea while living short-term in England. They have stores around town like we have Starbucks the US (well, like everyone does, I guess, haha.) Anyway, I often ask my British friends to bring me a box, but needed a refill before someone came. I was SO happy to see it for sale on amazon. Other retailers were trying to charge an arm and a leg for a box. This tea is just the right flavor for me. Not bitter or too strong. Just the right balance.

This tea is very expensive but wow is it good. My husband is British and was not familiar with this tea until my brother brought it back from O KK d Blighty and my husband absolutely loves this tea.

The box containing the tea bags was a little mangled. I wasn’t too worried because I knew the tea bags would be in a sealed foil packet. Unfortunately when I opened the box, I found the inner foil package had been opened. So this was a total waste of money.

While I find this to be a respectable brew, it is more suited for an afternoon, than a morning cup. Frankly, there are much better English Breakfast blends at half the price-point. That said, it is well packaged in a foil sleeve, dated with both manufacture and expiration dates.

Best tea. Never bitter regardless of how long it’s steeped. Both regular and decaf.

One of the best English Breakfast Teas I've had but I thought it was packaged in single packets and it's not. All the tea bags are in one foil bag. That was my only disappointment.
