Quartz movement with three pairs of hands.
5/9/20 I do not like the "chime" on the hour, an odd sound, would rather have just a clear bell, but never mind I need not use this part. This clock has replaced a wind up mechanical clock.

The chime sounds very cheap and nasty not very clear speaker not the best at all
The movement keep good time but the chime is a bit pathetic sounds like it's under water

Arrived in good time, was easy to install and works perfectly

NOT a normal clock chime - animal noises!
The mechanism itself is very easy to assemble and comes with a nice choice of hands. The biggest downfall is the chime which i removed as soon as I tested the chime sounds, they are all animal noises which is not what I want to hear. I would not recommend this if you want a clock mechanism that chimes.

Avoid
This as meant to be a chiming clock mechanism. OK, the clock does work, but the "chimes" are an utter waste of time , just a few notes, that's all. No striking, just a few notes of terrible sound. If you want a chiming mechanism, the is NOT for you!

An excellent clock mechanism
Before ordering any clock mechanism be sure to measure the shaft on the old one as all shafts are different lengths. This particular clock mechanism fit perfectly and is high quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

great product with a variety of hands my only issue with this replacement is that the chimes are very tinny if you don't connect the chimes you still get a clicking noise, disappointed with the chime quality the rest of the product is of good quality and running well.

No sirve, ni una semana y se paro. No da la hora bien y suena una campana horrible. No lo recomiendo.

It was easy to install but there was one thing I didn’t like and that was the chime. It was a very low sound plus i didn't think it had a good sound, so i turned the chime sound off. Other then that it looks nice in my walk clock and runs well.
