Do they scratch easily?

No! They're really sturdy. Had mine for a while now and no scratches, chips, cracks, or any damage. I regularly put them in the dishwasher and use them daily.

What's the difference between mikasa swirl and mikasa ciara? They look the same.

Ciara is a 4 piece place setting set and Swirl is a 6 piece place setting which includes a small fruit bowl and the smallest plate-a salad plate.

what is the difference between Ciara and Trellis?

Why is the brown box cheaper than the color box? What does that mean?

According to one reviewer who already had a set of Ciara from a department store, the brown box set was not the same as the color box set. The color box set matched her existing Mikasa Ciara and she felt the brown box set was cheaper. Anyone else able to compare?
