For the 2nd time in 3 years, I managed to pull a muscle or whatever in my lower back. All I did was get up out my office chair and suddenly there was a ton of pain from my lower back. The next day I couldn't walk, had to crawl about on all 4s & spent most of the day lying in bed - although I did get stuck on the floor for an hour or so whilst the lower back muscles spasmed every time I tried to move. Just horrible but the spasms eventually calmed down. Whilst lying in bed last night, I decided to order this belt and it arrived the next day (today as of writing). Still on all 4s, I managed to retrieve the parcel, then perch myself off my office chair and fitted the belt around my beer gut (easily done using the extension). Had the belt set to the high heat setting + various massage settings and within 30 mins I was able to stand up straight. Don't get me wrong, standing up straight still hurt like hell but it was a bearable pain compared to when I attempted the same thing this morning and before the belt arrived. Obviously, my lower back problem is a muscle injury and the belt has helped immensely. After 30 mins or so I detached the belt and quickly got out the house, into the car and did a quick food shop - although quite a painful food shop but manageable. The vibrations from the massage feature is nothing but bliss on the area just above the right side of my rear end where I believe the muscles have cramped/strained/pulled etc...just utter bliss. The heat comes and goes so there is really not much of a sweat issue at all. The only thing I can point out is that it's easy to think that the power connector slides out too easily...however, you have to push it in till it "clicks" and then it's proper in there and won't move. Excellent product and quality build too.

This heat pad is amazing. It is comfortable, easy to use and after just 10 minutes use the pain in my back was improved greatly. I recommend this product

It works, the heat setting makes it great and the extra bit is great for those in the bigger waist line. Only downside its not wireless

Product is well made and has good quality materials. It is easy to use. I have lower back and shoulder pains and the product is very convenient to use much better than using my old hot water bottle. Heat level is just right and can change intensity without the risk of getting burnt. The massage functions are great as you can change the intensity and mode. Fit is good but somewhat is smaller size; I am size 12/14 and I needed the extender. I even used it to keep me warm in cold days and I fall asleep so the auto shut off is very handy. Overall I think I got much more with my money’s worth

Item arrived promptly and well packaged. Appeared to be new and unused. Easy to set up, although the instructions don't make it clear how to use the handset. Unfortunately the temperature was just tepid. I even tried directly on my back and there was just mild warmth. There was a mild burning smell from where the cabling went into the pad, so I assume it was broken rather than that was the real heat. Others have said heat is good so I guess mine was just faulty and I have returned. The only other comment I would make is that the item is very bulky and unwieldy, especially with the extension (as a reference I am 6ft and have a 44inch chest). I found it uncomfortable sitting down with it on my back. I'll stick to the microwaveable Hottie for now ... now that does provide real heat and you can target it exactly where the pain is.

I bought this, assuming that, practicality, the lead connecting would be to charge it up. The stock pictures certainly supported my thinking. With no plug lead, only the remote control lead. However, I was unaware that I was completely wrong. It can ONLY be used when plugged into a plug port. So basically, it can be used outside of your home. Disappointing but I can learn to live with it. It kind of defeats the point of a heat pain belt, but , hey.. It certainly gives an intense degree of heat. It gets incredibly hot actually. The vibration massaging is okay. Not alot of options, but combined with heat, it isn't a bad option if you have lower back pain. I really do wish they would have made it clear the connecting port from the device to the mains plug are the ONLY way to use it. It cant be charged up with the connecting lead, so I find the pictures slightly misleading. I will still use it or I would return it, but it not an ideal product, practicality wise. As for the pain reduction? The heat is certainly strong, as I have noted. The vibration is okay, basic and limited options. Not an ideal item, but it can help, mainly because of the heat. Just dont expect it be used anywhere except, near a plug port. It is okay, just not as great as the glowing reviews indicate . Of course, everyone's body pain is different and will have different results using this. The pain reduction, this product is good for is a high degree of heat. Which in itself can relieve pain, outside of a hot bath, that is.. I really do wish in stock photos , they would be a little more honest.

After suffering a traumatic back injury over a year ago I have been unable to tolerate a 'conventional' back massager with pressure and I have found this vibrating massager with heat to be just perfect for my needs. There are a number of vibrating modes and the heating can be turned on or off. The automatic shut off after 20 minutes is also useful and, even though my back is greatly improved I find that I still use this machine daily when I need to sit down for a rest. It's almost become part of my treatment regime to supplement my osteopathy sessions.
