Symphony Beach III 1.3 Aqua

I thought it would be fun to get a foil kite to mess around with when my family is camping on the beach. They thought I was weird for kiting but let me tell you, after about a minute of me flying this on the beach my 8 year old son had to try it! I thought ok let's go through how it works, he said, dad I got this and literally took the reigns and started flying it like a pro. There was the beginners slams into the ground for sure. Mostly from me and the kite showed absolutely no signs of damage at all! Once my wife saw how much fun we were having she tried it and I have now officially converted all of them into those wackos on the beach kite flying lol 😂 I stepped up immediately to a bigger 250 kite because too much is never enough! This kite though is just pure fun! It's fast and it's fun. What more can you ask for. With its ease of use anyone will be up and running within minutes. You definitely want to have some consistency with the wind, doesn't need to be storm surge wind but the heavier the more fun you will have and the faster the kite will move. There's a tail loop but no tail. Using one will slow it down but could make some neat designs. I want speed and craziness! The colors are eye catching and will draw a crowd if you are at a place where kiting is not common. Price is awesome, build is quality, performance is there, you can't go wrong. If you are 125 or more it won't pull you around or anything but that's not always what it's about. Sometimes you just want to have fun and throw some 8s and 0s

I could not wait for my recent trip to the shore, hoping for wind enough to try out this Symphony Beach III 1.3 kite, and the results were simply wonderful. I've flown dual line kites for many years, suffering through broken spars, lost parts and worn connectors that too often stood between me and soaring bliss. This kite eliminates these problems, and even better, folds up into a small package that fits into a corner of a backpack or suitcase, and even has room for that 75 ft tail that EVERYONE and me recommends highly. That aside, how does it fly? It soars! As a ready to fly kite, this kit includes quality lines, handles, winding spool inside a carrying case. The easy to follow instructions got me set up in a couple of minutes, then, in an instant, the quality of time changed as I drove this kite across the sky. Sorry I couldn't provide a photo or video of this first flight, as both hands were busy, but it went like this: As sunrise approached, I lofted the kite, then walked towards the shoreline tacking a warm westerly breeze, ultimately making my way to a sandbar that spanned 100 meters parallel to the shore. This kite is very easy to control, but much fun to fly, zipping over wave tops, sand and chasing the occasional sea bird. Pro Tip: If you are too blissful flying while atop a sandbar, beware of drop offs at the edges, as I almost took an unexpected swim. I mentioned the time-bending aspect of this flight, and it occurred to me that after two hours, my arms were getting tired, I was hungry, and that I should simply land it, wrap it up and call it a day. That did not happen. I could not help but continue trying to push the envelope, getting closer and closer to the wave tops until ultimately, the previously mentioned 75 ft tail caught the top of a wave and convinced the kite to stop flying and start swimming. The sea rescue was quick, and a rinse removed the sand that entered the kite's baffles, however the long tail required more rigorous cleaning, drying and wrapping, but the separately purchased tail remains a highly recommended accessory, as the results are truly hypnotic. Now, a month later, I think of that fun first flight and await steady breezes that will take me to the skies with this kite once more.

Fast forward to actually taking it to the beach. Perfect day of great winds.. minimal people! It definitely was challenging. The strings are soooo long to use the individual handles to keep in control of the kite. Dad had to wrap the string numerous times around his wrists to adjust the length. The 7 yr old couldn’t possible have gotten this up & running. Beautiful kite with great material. The parachute design is perfect however it definitely took time for dad to find the rhythm . I do hope they continue to use it & perfect it as it wasn’t cheap🌼 This review is not from me personally using. However, I purchased for my 5 yr old grandson & his parents. I saw a family at the beach using it & loved the style, quality & interaction between the 6 yr old & dad. My son in law just received & will know more soon. Impressed in the construction as the string with padded material handles appears to be all connected to kite… very easy to hold! 2 sizes & I bought the 1.8 for younger & hoping the larger will be as he grows up. They live a few miles from the beach. For the price I’m trusting it will last them awhile!

I got this kite for my 11 year old granddaughter. It is rated to fly in 6 to 31 mph winds. The day after christmas was about 6 - 10 mph. It flew great. She could keep it straight, or do circles and loops within an hour. This kite is perfect for kids, because when they crash it...there is nothing to break. No poles. You just pick it up, untangle the two lines, and let them pull it out of your hands. I've had plenty of steerable, two line kites, and this one is the easiest, and best to fly in low winds.

I had always wanted this style of kite. This is a top brand, it is well made with everything you need. It has a nice winding storage device and good handles. The handles are color coded on each end so putting the strings to the kite is easy. This kite also has built in loops so you can add tails if you would like. It’s a great buy.

He tenido cometas de este tipo en el pasado y ahora quería una para regalar a un muchacho de 10 años. Está bien construida, tanto como otras cometas mayores, resulta tremendamente vistosa por sus colores, y muy ágil en el cielo. Aprender a manejarla requiere un poco de paciencia como todas las cometas acrobáticas de 2 hilos, pero no debería ser un problema para un adulto, ni para un niño a partir de 9/10 años con la ayuda del mismo. Ojo, porque hay mucha diferencia entre una cometa de 1,3m. y otra de 2,6m. (no digamos ya de 3 o 4m.) La de 2,6m. es perfectamente capaz de arrastrar a un adulto con vientos fuertes así que no podemos considerarla apta para niños. Esta es el tamaño ideal para iniciarse en el manejo de este tipo de cometas, para luego ir incrementando el tamaño y quizás acabar probando el kitesurf.

Après n'avoir jamais réussi à faire voler un Kite 4 lignes, je me suis penchée sur ce modèle 2 lignes qui est tout simplement parfait !!! Très pratique et rapide à emballer-déballer, il est beau, vole très facilement et est franchement solide pour sa taille (sorti lors d'un mistral à 60-70km/h...). Attention quand même aux rafales de vent, ça tire assez fort pour les moins de 40kg. Il n'est pas non plus très simple de le faire décoller lorsque l'on est seul seul et pas vraiment sur un terrain lisse (autre que du sable ou herbe courte), l'aide d'un ami(e) pour le lancer en l'air est la bienvenue. Mais le coup de main se prend assez vite et c'est très distrayant. Parfait pour débuter tout simplement !

Es el primer parafoil que tengo y ha Sido una muy grata experiencia para iniciarme en el kiting, asimismo le das a tus hijos nuevas experiencias ya que procuro Volar con ellos. Me gustó la cálidad de materiales del producto. El empaque y el seguimiento de la entrega, de lo mejor, lo recomiendo ampliamente. Lo principal Amazon nos abre un catálogo tan amplio de productos que de lo contrario sería muy complicado o caro conseguirlos localmente y tenemos la ventaja de comprar productos a nivel internacional a precios muy competitivos. He comprado la cometa porque en la zona costera en la que vivo es las pocas actividades que se pueden hacer en la playa cuando hace viento. Que es casi todos los días. Nunca antes había probado una cometa acrobática, ha sido la primera vez. La cometa vuela muy bien, cuando le cojes el truco de como dirigirla, claro, y es bastante divertido. La calidad de los materiales, el acabado y la presentación del producto son muy buenas. Lo comparo con otras cometas similares que he visto en una cadena de supermercados del deporte muy extendidos por españa conocida por todos. Para el precio que tiene el conjunto está muy bien para iniciarse y si no quieres gastar mucho lo recomiendo (yo estoy muy contento). El modelo que he comprado yo es el FLAME, toda negra con una llama en la parte inferior de la cometa. Muy llamativa, no estaba seguro porqué no queda claro como es. Pero es muy bonita y resalta sobre el cielo azul. Como la cometa es pequeña, pues resulta en una cometa acrobática muy rápida, nerviosa, que puede ser más costosa de controlar cuando se está empezando por primera vez. Las de 1,8 y 2,2 metros són más lentas y permiten un mejor control para el principiante. Ademàs, esta cometa necesita más viento que las otras dos versiones de mayor tamaño. Mínimo 10 km/h frente a los 6 km/h de la de 2,2 m. En zona costera no hay problema, ahora bien, en zona con poco viento puede ser mejor ir a por tamaños mayores (hay que tener presente que a mayor tamaño más fuerza de tracción, con la de dos metros igual me voy yo destrás de ella si el viento es fuerte). También debido a su reducido tamaño, la ventana de viento (zona situada enfrente del piloto donde la tracción es máxima) donde se puede usar la cometa es menor que en sus hermanas mayores. Las líneas de poliester que trae el kit van un poco justas (por el precio del kit no esperes unas líneas de Dyneema como en el cometa de 2,2m), con la longitud que tienen son como unas gomas. Así, cuando tiras de una de las líneas para hacerla cambiar de dirección la respuesta del hilo no es inmediata. Además, al ser relativamente gruesas y pesadas (comparadas con las de Dyneema/Spectra) presentan arrastre aerodinámico y tienden a combarse. Yo recomendo sustituirlas por unas lineas de Dyneema o Spectra. En Amazon puedes coseguir línea de Spectra barata por 4 y pocos euros de los Chinos, de 100m y 100lb/45kg, con la que hacerse un par de líneas de 25m. Con esto la cometa mejora mucho su controlabilidad y podrás sacarle el máximo partido a este kit.

Ho letto le recensioni ed i video su YouTube, prima di acquistare il prodotto. Arrivato al Locker con 12 ore di anticipo. Materiali di qualità, cuciture senza errori e struttura robusta. Non avevo mai usato aquiloni da trazione ma quelli acrobatici ed in pochi minuti ho imparato. Serve vento costante di almeno 10 km/h ed un minimo di manualità. Ho allegato un filmato con una prova dopo pochi minuti di volo dopo l'unboxing. Lo consiglio vivamente anche a Massimo !!!
