My favorite Surefire.
One of the best flashlights Surefire has ever produced... and I've owned almost every model. Amazing versatility, durability, and rugged good looks (I had to say it). This light should be able to proved most spectrums that you may need for duty or around the house work. These are now discontinued so buy one if you can find it.

Overpriced and Underperforming
This is a wildly overpriced product with mediocre performance. The colored lights are dim, and the control dial switching between them is mushy and cheap-feeling. I am very biased toward U.S.-built products and this is made in U.S.A.--but I am sorry to say that the Chinese-made multicolored flashlight from Nitecore is FAR better than this one, and costs about a fourth as much.

Almost as good as the original
I bought this to replace my kroma that was stolen. I work in the entertainment industry and the multi color led output is very handy working backstage. I do like the change where there is an actual off position. Things I do miss are the variable output on the blue and red led. Overall I think that it is a great product and I haven't had any issues with it so far.

i really like the design of the flashlight its like no other , you don't want it too bright when you need to use a flashlight for the close objects , mine has green which is good for the nature - bugs don't see green and there not attracted to the green color at all so they won't stick to the light, the red is good for map reading , it goes through the fog better then the white, police use red light for tactical operations..., blue is good for tracing blood when you hunt, and the ir is also cool to have if your ir light burn out or something its not that bright but its good to use it when you are in a close distance , over all i think its a great idea to have different lights in one vrs using the filters , hopefully they will make it brighter but im still happy with what the sure fire offers , you can't beat surefire with there quality and a name, and note i probably giving 5 stars because i didn't have to pay for it i got it as a xmas present from my wife :D

Very Good
Battery run time seems to be a little off. Stands up to the rigors of a Motorcycle P.O. here in the Northeast U.S. . Some of the options i.e. colored light maybe a little over the top for the job. Price is on the steep side. Carried for the most part clipped inside of a cycle boot.

Original version was better.
I originally bought one of these back in '08 when I was in the military. It was a great light and I loved it. I lost I and bought another a few years later but its not as good as the original. The detents at every color are not as solid and its difficult to tell if you're on a particular color jut by feel. This was and is important to some since at night using night vision gear, the IR output is quite handy. However, if the flashlight is on red and you think its on IR, you're position is instantly given away. As I said, that's not an issue for the vast majority but for those using this light tactically, its a pretty big deal.
