Gun case
Very cheap and flimsy, If it stays at home in it I guess it will work but to travel with it, no way. Good for keeping the dust off the firearm only.

Cheap quailty
Very cheap plastic and foam. Only good for transporting your rifle from house to car, and car to range. The lock points on the case is pointless. You can lock it and still rip the case open.

Great case for the money
We gave this case to our grandson for Christmas to hold his youth rifle with scope and its additional shotgun barrel. It seems sturdy and the padding is sufficient. The size is just right to allow it all to be stored without any danger of items touching the scope.

good case, didnt quite fit my air rifle
really nice sturdy case at a reasonable price. i just bought a gamo fusion pro air rifle and it barely fits in this rifle case, however that is my fault for not making proper measurements.

good range case
a decent range case for the price. not too bad. I wouldnt attempt to use on a plane or shipping, but good enough for back and forth to the range and storage at the house. Fits my sks with a sight.

CAN BUY SAME QUALITY CASE FROM CABELAS FOR $15.
I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE IT SAID SPECIAL EDITION AND THAT IT WOULD WORK FOR AIRLINE USE. THIS IS WAY TOO FLIMSY FOR AIRLINE USE, THE FOAM IS RELATIVELY THIN. YOU CAN BUY THE SAME QUALITY CASE AT CABELAS FOR $15 OR WALMART FOR $20.

After looking around for a good value hard case I opted for this one from Plano. I've used their products for years for archery equipment and know they have a very good reputation in the US and Canada. The key thing is - Is it big enough for your rifle? A number of other similar priced hard cases gave measurements that made me unsure if it would fit my air rifle and scope. This snugly fits a standard sized PCP with medium sized 40 mm scope attached. The limiting factor seems to be the internal cut out for the handle which is right where the scope would be attached, which means the rifle needs to be carefully positioned. Mine has one position where it fits perfectly. Many of the reviewers commented on the overall flimsiness of the case. And they have a fair point. If you want a really strong airport approved case then this probably wouldn't be my first choice. It is a cheap case for what it is. And yes it does feel a little less robust than the higher spec models available. However, probably adequate for storing your rifle somewhere it isn't going to get knocked about too much, and for transporting in a vehicle. It will offer protection from things knocking into it if you are transporting the rifle, particularly important for the scope. The 'fit' is helped by the internal foam, which on my rifle and scope means the lid needs to be pushed down quite hard to lock the latches. However, this should cause scope creep unless your scope isn't attached properly, and means there is less likelihood of the gun sliding around inside the case, which can only be a good thing.Overall a good choice and am happy with it.

A bit tight with a 50 scope
I’ve given this a 4 star rating purely because it seems a little tight around the scope on my Weihrauch 97. I have a Hawke 3-12x50 on the rifle. I’m sure it would be fine if I removed the scope and stored it loose in the case but I don’t want to re-zero every time I go out. Would be fine with a smaller scope. Good quality case for the £££’s though.

Very cheap case.
This case will only just fit one rifle and maybe a pistol but, the foam will not hold them both, the foam is so thin and isn't secured to the case, I wanted this case for my g36 and pistol, the pistol slides around inside the case. The case itself isn't secure or strong and isn't waterproof, this case can only be used for storage and even then be careful, if you drop the case it will break and possibly damage the gun. You can tell why it's so cheap.

Good bit of kit but not for hard wearing use.
Good bit of kit, but it's no where near the long lasting quality of more expensive cases, however that's the bit, the other, more hard wearing are more expensive. I only transport house to club. So this is fine for that purpose and on a budget.

Got this for my Dad for christmas and the case confortably fits his Wierauch rifle plus scope. The padded interior means that the rifle is held securely so it doesnt slide about, but it does mean we have to 'force' the case shut but this is only due to the scope against the padding. Like Isaid this means that the rifle and scope is held securely in the case and I would definitely recommend this
