i lost the recipes to make a cake in the gingerbread house pan, can I get theses recipes online? If not how long do you cook the cake and at what degree in the oven?

Nordic Ware gingerbread House comes with the Recipe to make the Cake, I am sure there are many Recipes for Gingerbread Cake on Line. I have an Old Oven, I used 325F Degrees and it took maybe 55 to 66 minutes, every Oven is Different, I don't know yours! ...I do have to cover the Cake with Aluminum Foil half way through the Baking or it would Brown too Fast! ...If this answer was of any help to you, consider to give me your Vote, click Yes or No under my Review.Thank You

How do you put this in the oven without it tipping over for baking? I don't see it balancing on a cookie sheet

This is an extremely unstable baking pan. Nordicware is a great company--I'm surprised that the pan was not constructed with stabilizers in the corners to keep it from tipping over. We learned this the hard way--it fell over on our oven rack, and when we tried to get it out it turned over the rest of the way and completely emptied itself all over the oven. I have no idea how anyone could recommend using it without a cookie sheet underneath!

What kind of nonstick coating is being used?

i completely lost the instructions for this gingerbread house pan, did it say i should be placing the pan on a cookie sheet? or straight on a oven rack?

Dear Natalie...I am sorry it took me so long to get this letter sent to you. I don't read my emails very often and just now found your question.I personally recommend putting the gingerbread house pan on a cookie sheet just in case it were to tip over while you were baking it. I don't have the instructions anymore so I don't know what the company that made the pan recommends. Let me know if that works for you. Good luck with your baking.
