5 MONTH UPDATE: Faucet works great, no rusting in the suspect areas that people have complained about (I will continue to keep an eye on that location). My wife and I LOVE the touch aspect of the faucet. No issues at all. Finally, we don't really use the third spray option. Overall still five star happy with this faucet. Will update if the rust issue occurs. ________________________________ I did a ton of research before purchasing this faucet.. I really didnt want to replace my old one, and ended up repairing it a few times (it was another Delta and the faucet kept leaking no matter how I turned the handle, and it was about 6 years old). When I finally decided to get a new one, I was overwhelmed with the amount of choices of faucets to choose from.. cheap to expensive to touchless, to touch, to regular, to color, to brand. Ultimately, I decided on another Delta, because of the Touch2O, spray modes, and the warranty. I had never tried a touch faucet, but I had tried a touchless many times, and I don't really like it. The touch is awesome... to me, much more convenient than regular or sensor. Its very responsive, haven't had a single issue (its only been 2 weeks). I also purchased the plug for it so I don't have to replace the batteries ever. The 3 spray modes are great, albeit different than I have seen before with the weird circular spray, and the 2 lines of 4 spray modes. Both my wife and I love the modes, but I can see how some people might think its odd. My only minor gripe is that the pressure when washing dishes off sometimes makes drops go flying all over the sink area. Finally, I picked this faucet for the lifetime warranty. I read alot of reviews mentioning rusty magnets and that a faucet should not rust. Well apparently this one does, and Delta knows about it, because alot of reviews mention customer service sending them free magnets to replace the rusting ones. If this happens, I will be doing the same thing, and it wont be a big deal.. Overall, this faucet has lived up to my expectations for the past two weeks. If anything changes, I will update my review. Our old kitchen faucet started having issues so I decided to try a smart one this time. I was surprised & frustrated to see that most of the smart faucets are going with motion detection sensor which is perfect for public restrooms but a terrible idea for kitchen. I came across this faucet, looked at the simple design, positive reviews, practicality of touch operation and decided to go with it. I almost bought an adapter so that I don't have to keep on changing batteries. It's been more than a month we've have been using it and our family loves it. My 6 year old who can hadly reach the handle can now simply turn on/off with touch. If my hands are messy, I simply touch my forearm or elbow and it works like charm. The light indicator for water temperature is also useful. Water pressure is great and I love the rinse mode to rinse plates etc without wasting too much water. It's totally worth every penny you pay for it. Installation was not that difficult, if you are a bit handy. Just go for it!

I converted my 60/40 split kitchen sink to a 36 inch workstation sink and absolutely love how it turned out. I’ve been saving a long time to refresh my sink in lieu of doing an entire kitchen remodel and was going for a unique, modern design to update my kitchen. I have a 36 in side cabinet that my contractor cut the side to allow the workstation sink to fit. We added the appropriate bracing under the sink at the cabinets walls, creating a “shelf “ for the sink to rest on. We also had a fabricator cut a larger opening into the existing granite countertop to receive the new sink. While the sink is kicked over by 1/2 -3/4 inch to the left, it had to be installed this way since that’s where I had space. My contractor met the needs of the project and did a fantastic job. My sink refresh consisted of the following products: Serene Valley Workstation Kitchen Sink, 36-inch Thick-Deck Dual Mount, DDWG3622R; Fonveth Contemporary Design Kitchen Sink Countertop Soap Dispenser Pump Matte Black, Delta Faucet Lenta Matte Black Kitchen Faucet Touch Matte Black 19802TZ-BL-DST , Insinkerator Instant Hot Water 0.66 gal dispenser, Insinkerator Indulge Modern Series 1-Handle 9.25 in. Faucet for Instant Hot Water Dispenser in Matte Black, KANARY Garbage Disposal Air Switch Button for Counter Top (Square ,Matte Black), and Insinkerator Badger 900 ¾ HP garbage disposal. I didn’t take a picture of my base cabinet inside, but I added a trash can pull-out Rev-A-Shelf Single 32 Quart Reduced Depth Bottom Mount Waste Container (11595468), a foot pedal to open the cabinet door without my hands ENVI Kick Hands-Free Door Opening Foot Pedal (11520333), and a Never MT soap dispenser conversion kit which saves me from having to fill the little soap dispenser bottle all the time. The window shade is VENETA Designer Room Darkening Roller Shades in Villa Midnight. The Serene Valley Workstation Sink has a low 50/50 divider and each basin is large enough for big pots to sit flat in the basin to wash. The sink came with a cutting board which slides across the workstation left to right, as well as sink grids. Next, I found the Fonveth Contemporary Design Kitchen Sink Countertop Soap Dispenser Pump Matte Black as well as the KANARY Garbage Disposal Air Switch Button for Counter Top (Square ,Matte Black). Both are square shaped in Matte Black and complete my modern design. For my faucet, the Delta Faucet Lenta Matte Black Kitchen Faucet Touch Matte Black 19802TZ-BL-DST is really cool. All I have to do when I have messy hands is tap the faucet for it to turn on or off. The only thing that I have to get used to is the faucet turning on when I accidentally bump it when cleaning. I found that if I place a hand on the faucet and use my other hand to clean, it “grounds” the faucet from turning on if I accidentally bump it. I didn’t buy the AC adapter for the faucet and have easy access to changing its batteries if I need to. I love the Instant Hot Water Dispenser and Insinkerator faucet. I can’t believe I went without one for so long. I can’t say enough about the hidden pleasures in the trash can pull out, the hands-free opening foot pedal and the Never MT soap dispenser conversion kit. These items are relatively affordable if you’re looking to add some convenience and ease to your kitchen set up.

UPDATE: I’ve changed this to a 4-star review. Not a 5 because of the issues described in my original review. Changing because we contacted Delta and they sent us a brand new head, hose, and magnets. No charge, no questions. We described the problem and sent pictures and they sent us new parts. It was easy for my husband to install the new parts and now it works like a charm again! I was very pleased that Delta stood behind their product and their warranty! I bought this in 2020 when I renovated my kitchen. I really loved the faucet—the look and function was wonderful! I love the touch technology to operate the faucet—it is an amazing feature when cooking and you have yucky hands and don’t want to get that yuck on your faucet handle. It took no time to get used to using that feature—in fact, now when I go somewhere else I usually try to touch other faucets to get them turned on! LOL!! HOWEVER, as much as I loved this faucet, I’m completely disappointed just 4 1/2 years later. The spray shield stopped working probably a year and a half after purchasing. We’ve cleaned it, soaked the head, etc and it will not work. We live in Lexington, Ky and our water is hard (limestone is wonderful for horses and bourbon, not so great for appliances), so we chalked it up to that and not Delta’s fault. But soon after that we noticed a tremendous amount of RUST around the head and on the hose. I mean, why would a WATER faucet not have rustproof materials??!! We’ve tried cleaning it off but we just cannot. Then the final straw—the button that controls the type of spray is completely rusted now and controlling the spray is basically impossible. If you move to a different spray, it takes a lot of effort to try to get it back to a normal flow. It’s horrible. I gave it 3 stars just because I did love it at first and I still do love the touch technology, but for the long run, it just has way too many flaws. I have Delta shower heads and love them so I was very surprised this Delta faucet failed so miserably in a relatively short amount of time, especially considering the price I paid!!

Wife bought this for kitchen remodeling. We have it for a year, so far so good. The kids like the touch feature and I come to like it as well. We didn’t read thorough reviews to know about rust issue. I guess we will find out at two years mark (seems like it starts to rust around 2 yrs per reviews). Previously we have Kohler faucet and we seem to need a replacement every 2-3 yrs as it start3ed to drip water. Hopefully with lifetime warranty for this faucet, we will get parts replace when needed. LED light is nice additional feature to have as we don’t pay too much attention to it (also thanks for the reviews head up about replace batteries for LED light feature. We bought AC adapter). Spray features, we use the main spray the most. If you have farm style under mount sinks, you will need to wipe the floor as water would spray outside sink area. Accidental happened when I get my sleeves wet with the touch to turn on mode. Warning, you will touch faucet to turn on/off water while using friend’s or public places as you would get use to touch mode faucet. Bought the matching glass rinser. Nice to have but we don’t maximize it as someone with younger kids.

The faucet itself is good quality, however, the touch system is hit or miss. It started out fine and the batteries lasted about a month before needing to be replaced. As time has passed, we were having to change out the batteries (6 AA batteries) every 2-3 WEEKS! When the batteries die, the faucet stops working. It’s not just the touch feature that stops working, the water flowing stops as well until you change the batteries. We recently ordered a 120 volt adapter to plug in and bypass the batteries. It worked fine for about two weeks and now the faucet has stopped working again. My husband is ready to get rid of the entire faucet because he’s tired of having to crawl under the sink to fix it! We would replace the faucet to something totally different, but it’s not a cheap fix (new faucet and plumber to install). BTW, the faucet is only about 9 months old and we’ve been having this problem since it was installed.

This Delta touch faucet isa class act. my Plumber told me to get a name brand faucet such as Delta, Moen or Kohler. I saw this faucet because I wanted a touch faucet as I do a lot of baking and cooking. I was extremely pleased with the quality of this faucet it does everything it says it will. It does not drip and you can put the controls in the front or in the back. I would buy this again.

Yes, it is expensive, but to me it is worth every penny, and then some! It was a breeze to install, because as I am not a Plummer, I hired one, as I always do when something is out of my field of expertise! My Plummer was VERY impressed with it and told me it is the new wave of faucets, and I am catching the wave early! I believe he's going to buy one for his wife! It is replacing another so-called high-end faucet, that I had to replace twice with the warranty, but it wasn't worth the headache to do it a third time. I am sure I am not allowed to name names here, as far as the type, but let's suffice to say that it was so bad, it made me "moan" every time I looked at it or used it. So, to make a long story short, everything you need to know about the features are listed on this Amazon page, and they all work even better than I ever imagined. Don't wait until tomorrow, buy this TODAY!!!

El sensor de la llave si funciona pero no corta el agua. La compré y tardaron en entregarme mi cocina, para cuando la instale ya decía que se había cerrado la ventana de devolución. Solo sirve como llave normal y no se activa el touch 😞

Works great! Touch system is perfect in the kitchen! It’s our second Delta faucet in the kitchen. Last one broke after 10 years! And looks beautiful!!! Also we just bought for a great price! (after sale). Very recommended!
