Major and Rugby Antacid 500mg Calcium Carbonate are distributed by the same company (per label), and made by the same brand per 5th picture on Rugby pictures on Amazon. The Major tablets are fruit flavored, while the Rugby are peppermint flavored. They come in identical bottles. I find the Major tablets are harder / more dry to chew. Both are equally effective. The main difference is the Major brand has several artificial colors, while the Rugby brand does not list any artificial colors

The tablets are fine, when I get one that isn't nearly ground into dust. The contents have been handled so roughly that I have a bottle that has a lot of dust.

But do read your labels carefully: I didn't notice that this formula includes Sucralose, which I prefer not to ingest.
