Magic: The Gathering Chandra, Flame’s Catalyst Planeswalker Deck | Core Set 2021 (M21) | 60 Card Starter Deck, C76580000

I'm not a pro Magic player or anything Haven't touched TCG since the first gen pokemon cards launched forever ago. In fact, I bought this and a couple boosters to get into it because MTG's always interested me, ever since I first saw kids playing it back in, like, 1998. But, I was able to run this deck against a circuit of my friends (all with 10+ years playing) and go 5w-3l my first clutch of games. Granted, a few of those early wins were probably them going easy on me, but near the end they were hard-won, so maybe more like 4-5 if we're being realistic. Customizing it a bit by bringing it up to 65 cards, including a few more buff-y enchantments and direct-damage instants from core 21 helped rev the deck's primary mechanics, and made it run even better, both against known experienced players and in MTGA. Speaking of: you also get an MTG:Arena code for unlocking the deck there, which is great. There's some pretty fun cards in here that combo well even in Commander decks. White token-creature-based and Green decks tend to stomp all over it, though, so be careful with that! Bad draws are also your enemy, so try to work some card draw and/or land-search into the deck if you do decide to tweak it instead of building your own (hard to do with red but possible if you get a couple fetch lands and thrills of possibility). Overall, pretty great experience getting into trading card games with this one, at least for my facepunch playstyle. The Liliana deck my girlfriend picked up to play against me seems pretty flimsy in comparison.

This is a neat deck to start with if you're into a straight red mana deck. I'm really glad comes with a digital code to practice with on MTGA.

Got this for my bf, and he loved it. He said it’s a starter deck with a couple rare cards (Idk anything about magic, but I’m glad he liked it)

This was a gift for my brother who is obsessed with this card game. He seemed really excited and pleased. I feel like it was a great purchase.

Sister liked it, I do think aome experience is needed with MTG first.

no problem with the content overall. exactly what I ordered, but unfortunately the "signature" foil card of the deck was severely curled. So expect other foil cards to be similar. Just feel like this can be improved as I'll have to get creative on how to flatten.

Es un buen mazo para empezar en Magic, lo puedes usar como base e ir añadiendo cartas o cambiándolas hasta tener un mazo decente. La única contra es que la carta foil pomo me vino curveada.
