Review: Simple, as advertised - Works perfect, as advertised. Running a Raspberry Pi 400 from this with no issue, helping to keep cabling clean. Works great with Omada POE switch and standard RJ45 connectors. Getting full 1gb connection, and is compatible with USB-C on RPi.
Review: Easy if you have PoE - Bought a 48 port PoE switch (overkill) and therefore opted to power the two Raspberry Pi's we have via the switch, and these cords/connectors. Cut down of things we had to plug in, so that was a big plus. Regardless, it fit with the transition to a new networking configuration in the house. Just be careful what cords you use as not all will support PoE...and it might take a bit longer for the Pi's to boot, depending on your switch (mine senses, so it takes a few minutes). But they work as advertised - zero issues.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Scottish alternative to the RPi PoE HAT

I really wanted to convince myself to drop the cash on a PoE HAT for my Pi 4+ but when I saw this product, my inner Scot said I had to give it a shot. If I end up buying 5 or 6 RPi's, it's going to amount to some substantial savings. As far as power quality is concerned, this module has been able to deliver a consistent supply of current using standard Cat5E cabling with the NetGear JGS-516PE PoE switch behind it. Network connectivity is stable and I have been able to test this up to about 45 MByte/sec. I haven't pushed more through it because I hadn't set up and tuned my NAS yet but I expect to follow up in the next few weeks with some throughput and stability figures obtained from 1Gb/sec wire speed tests. If all goes as it should, this device should not inhibit transfers up to around 120MByte/sec.
