Good price, great pliers for precious metal work
Well made pliers with replaceable non-marring jaw covers. One replacement set included. Great for working with materials like gold or plated metal without risking damage to the finish or plating. Good and strong if you are bending metal for jewelry or related work. Much stronger and rigid that all plastic or nylon pliers.

A really nice tool
Very high quality tool. Operates smoothly, no play in the mechanism at all. Hidden spring in handle keeps the pliers open, quite handy. I got these to work on wire-rim eyeglasses without damaging the metal. They worked beautifully. Comes with an extra set of soft tips, but I have not worn out the first set yet.

Good little pair of pliers
I appreciate the spring function on many IPS pliers. These line up well and are comfortable to use. Being a slip-joint is a good touch. The black coating should guard well against rust. The pads can be a little slick when dealing with some materials like smooth metal, but a little double-sided sticky tape on them will solve that. They come with one set of replacement pads, but Amazon also sells them separately in packs of 2 pairs. Any play in the joint can be adjusted out with the nut on one side of it, which I like. It doesn't stick out enough to get in the way of anything.

Good value for a good tool
This is a great tool to help prevent scratching or denting your silver or gold jewelry making wires, or eyeglasses, etc. Seems well made, the durability to be determined. I like the width of the nose, it fits in smaller areas than other pliers. There is a slide adjustment for how wide it opens, and it has a spring operated opening, with a good soft grip. It comes with one set of replacement plastic (nylon?) screw-in liners for the nose, but I think it will be a while before that’s needed. So far I am very happy with this purchase.

Excellent, as expected
Just what you’d expect. Well made, feels good in the hand and included are extra soft jaws and screws.

The color
Firstly, this product was delivered days late. Secondly, the product on Amazon shows a lovely lavender color ( no option to choose color). Well I received a red one. I received a red one for the wider pliers so I was really hoping for a different color to differentiate the 2. Not to mention most tools are blue or red and having the calm lavender color would have been nice. I will say these pliers are exceptionally well made though and happy I made the discovery as a jeweler. My recommendation to the company is to allow for color options or simply show the color to be expected.

Great pliers for delicate work to protect parts.
Just be careful with the plastic jaws as they can break easily if to much force is used, but theses pliers do come a replacement set! You can see in my picture that they look to be an exact match to the Tamya pliers which don't come with extra plastic jaws and cost $10 more. Since I broke my Tamya jaws I purchased these pliers as a replacement as the plastic replacement jaws cant be found anywhere. But, these pliers come with a second set of jaws which fit the Tamya pliers so now I have two sets of working pliers, so win win.

Prevents scratches.
I should've gotten these 30 years ago. People who wear glasses know that we need to readjust the frame occasionally. But you don't want to use regular pliers. They scratch or even break legs, nose support, etc. In the past 30 years, I probably broke 3 pairs that way. Not my best hours. If RC dampers' cylinder rods get scratched, they can damage the o-rings inside. Wrapping things in paper is fine, but they can always slip off. I don't know why having the dedicated contact areas make that much of a difference, but they do. The soft plastic teeth(?) also have grooves so they'd have more surface areas to contact.

Die Zange ist prima, greift gut. Es sind sogar 2 Ersatzbacken mit eingepackt. Die Lieferzeit war etwas zäh und hätte normalerweise einen Stern gekostet. Aber die Qualität macht das wett.

Beautiful Japanese quality. These are a bit expensive but they're so handy to have around and are very frequently used. Previously, there've frequently been times I'd end up causing damage to something I was fixing because I only had metal pliers. I finally got sick of mangling things so I ordered these. Not only am I using them for the things I originally bought them for, but they frequently get used for applications I hadn't previously thought of. For example, the other day I used them for putting on some spring hose clamps and they worked so much better than metal jawed pliers because the nylon grips the tabs of the clamps instead of always slipping off. Take the plunge and buy these; you won't regret it. Actually, you'll thank yourself every time they get you out of trouble and you'll forget all about the slightly higher price you paid.

Got these to press tape-in hair extensions after seeing a similar tool specific to that purpose sold at 89$ or more. Cheap versions of the same tool have reviews stating it broke almost instantly. So I tried this. It's perfect. The quality is excellent, the whole thing is made of metal - came with extra set of pads for the teeth (excellent, thank you!) and feels good in the hand with a slightly rough handle so you don't slip while pressing. Really excellent tool and very well made, and cheaper than the knockoffs even. Recommended highly!
