I hate guessing when it comes to determining if my kids' shoes fit properly, so I was happy to see the "Kinder Fit" guide inside this shoe, and all the Pumas I ordered to test out. You can take out the lining, lay it on the floor, place your child's foot on it, and see right away if you've got the right size. It's a lot like the guide inside all of Stride Rite's shoes. I would have gone too small without the fit guide. Beyond that, these shoes are sturdy but also nice and light and flexible - not bulky, stiff, or heavy like lots of other sneakers out there. I think this is especially important in the first year or so of walking. My 14 month old has been walking in these with no stumbling or other problems and he picks them out of the stack (over his other options) when we tell him it's time to get his shoes. We haven't had them long enough for me to comment on their durability, but I am otherwise quite happy with them. Since he started walking, my little one has outgrown Stride Rite sneakers, Clarks, and Crocs, and I'd put these on par with the rest.

I always have high expectations of Puma's and they never let me down. These shoes are cooler in person on my little guy. I got the green so he can wear them with Navy or black. They are soft, comfortable, easy to put on and should be pretty durable since they are Puma's. I cringed at the price tag because I think close to $40 is too much but caved anyway. Sizing seems on point maybe slightly small but we're very pleased. He gets compliments on them everywhere we go from strangers, to other mommies, even from daddies. You can't go wrong with these for the spring. The only reason I did not give a 5 is because the treads get dirt stuck in them and he brings it all through the house.

My 2 year old has a different set of Pumas in a size 6 that fit perfect right now. I wanted to buy him a new pair that were a little bigger for when his size 6 becomes too small, and that had a little extra room to grow into. I bought him the size 7 in these shoes thinking they would be perfect but they were the same size as his other Pumas in a 6. We are waiting for the size 8 in these shoes, I'm hoping they will be bigger. My son doesn't have very big feet either, so it was surprising when the other Pumas in a 6 and these Pumas in a 7 were the same size. When in doubt with these Pumas go 2 sizes bigger. I still gave a 5 star because they are very nice shoes, even though the size was off for us.

I bought these for my 4 year old son. He gets many compliments! I love the old school look and Puma has always been a favorite brand at our house. I know from several purchases, that Puma shoes do run small. You will definitely want to order a full size up. These particular shoes are also on the narrow side. He has been wearing these for 3 months now. He is extremely active and hard on his shoes. So far, these are holding up very well. The material makes them easy to wipe clean and they honestly still look almost brand new. These shoes are adorable. You won't be disappointed!

These are lightweight and comfy to play in. Easy care, easy on and off. Perfect for a toddler. My son loves these ever since I bought them for him previously in a smaller size in the red color. The red ones are my fave, but the blue also matches a lot of little boy outfits with the navy and the other brighter blue (the red ones weren't available in the bigger size when I ordered). My kid has a lot of J's which are what he usually wears, but he often prefers these Pumas. I'm assuming that a big factor is the material because these shoes breathe a lot better than the others and are more flexible.

This is the third consecutive pair of PUMA Whirlwinds my now 5 year old wanted. The first two pairs (sz 11-blue and 13-red/blue) fit great. The 13.5 in this grey-black-red color are narrow. A pair of nikes in the same size are visually much wide and provide a better fit. The length is not the issue, just the width, so if your little man/girl has those adorably wide Fred Flintstone feet, you may want to size up or pick a different sneaker.

I've bought these several times over the past few years, but I won't be buying them in the future. First, they do run small so you want to buy half a size up. This is a Puma thing, as I've always bought half a size up in my son's Pumas. The shoes are really cute, comfortable, and light weight. They were perfect for my son when he was younger, as they wore really well. (He usually rotates between two pairs of shoes.) The last pair I bought (my son is 7) did not hold up at all--within 2 or 3 weeks they were literally falling apart. Now that he's older, I think he does things that put more stress on his shoes. These were fine when he was younger, but they definitely don't hold up to his play style now.

This shoe is absolutely adorable. I was very disappointed when it did not fit my son's foot. The shoe is very narrow. If your child has a wider foot, these most likely will not fit. This is the second pair of Puma shoes I have bought my son and both pairs did not fit because his foot was to wide. Puma does not offer a wide option for their shoes. I love the shoes completely though! They were super adorable. Not threads hanging off anywhere or distortions in color. They were absolutely perfect. My husband and I kept them for the sole purpose of possibly having another boy.
