I picked up this seasoning as a general-purpose shortcut for everyday cooking, mainly to see how it performs as a substitute for combining dried garlic and herbs by hand. The blend is fine and free-flowing, making it easy to measure and distribute evenly. On opening, the aroma is clearly garlic-led with a faint herbal background rather than anything especially fresh or complex. I used it on chicken thighs, roasted vegetables, and stirred into a yoghurt-based marinade, where it dissolved cleanly without leaving gritty residue. In use, it does the basics adequately. The garlic flavour is rounded and inoffensive, but not particularly assertive, while the herbs sit quietly in the background and struggle to stand out individually. It works best when added early in cooking, giving the dried components time to soften and integrate. Salt levels are sensible, which I appreciate from a control standpoint, but the overall flavour profile feels restrained and slightly generic. It is useful as a convenient baseline seasoning, though it rarely adds anything memorable on its own.

LOvely on scrambled egg. (as well as most things.)
