perfect in every way
love this helmet. I am a new rider and was so confused by all the options for Helmets. This one was reasonably priced and fit perfectly. My bike is REALLY loud so the speakers are kinda faint but that is no reflection on the helmet. I love the integrated sun visor. Everything about this helmet is as advertised the sizing chart worked perfectly. I used it right out of the box and took it on a 3 day, 10 hours per day, trip from Minnesota to DC and it was comfortable each day. No issues whatsoever. Pairs quickly and effortlessly. Not sure how they could even try to improve on this.

Good helmet, good price
I bought this helmet for all the wrong reasons. I wanted a full face helmet, I waited until the last minute, it was available and I could get it overnight, etc. I've had it for a couple of years now and it's been a great all around helmet. It's comfortable and fits my head well (I tried an XL and had to return it in favor of this one), it's not too heavy, and it has a lot of features. The helmet has vents that can be open or shut, but I really can't tell the difference. I get a lot of air rushing in under the chin (I rarely use the removable chin deflector unless it's REALLY cold) so the vents don't matter much to me. I really appreciate the tinted flip down visor that is separate from the clear visor. I can ride around with the clear visor open and, if it's not dark out, still have eye protection as well as a breeze on my face. Really nice touch. The Bluetooth works well, though every once in a while it refuses to talk to my phone. I have to shut the helmet off and back on to get it to work. Once it does, it works flawlessly. I wear earplugs to drown out the engine noise and I can still hear the speakers at highway speeds. The batteries have lasted for more than 8 hours at a stretch so I can't complain about that. The flip down visor tends to fog up if I'm not moving, but any helmet that isn't a pin-lock will do that. I usually treat it with anti-fog spray, which helps. I haven't had to test the DOT rating, thank goodness, and I hope I never do. The only minor quibbles I have are that the recharging port is micro-USB instead of USB-C, and that the chin strap loosens up over time and is a minor nuisance to adjust. But I'm really just nitpicking. I really like this helmet and when it's time to replace it, I'll probably get the pin-lock version.

sizes run small
A great helmet but definitely runs small, after a few rides it conformed to my head. Speakers are surprisingly excellent, my hearing is terrible and my bike is loud and I could still hear the music loud enough but also could hear the bike. Pairing was easy, the app is good, the module on the helmet is simple and easy to use with gloves. I haven't used the intercom and likely won't. I haven't taken phone calls while riding yet so I can't comment on that. Nothing bad to say whatsoever.

Great Helmet - Poor Sound Quality
The overall helmet is good bang for the buck. I'm not sure how "worthy" it would be in an accident (it is DOT rated) - which is obviously the most important feature, but the quality seems very good EXCEPT for the built in speakers. Horrible for music, barely tolerable for talking (phone or intercom). I wish there was an option to upgrade them to JBL or other high quality speakers. But the overall helmet seems well thought out and the chin guard flip up feature to is awesome when trying to get your head in the helmet. There is an inside visor that is good to filter out sunlight. The button/lever you use to put it down and up is very easy to find and use even with motorcycle gloves on. And the operation for turning the headset on of off is very easy to use as well. For the money - a good buy overall.

sizing is a joke
Let me tell you what was good about the helmet. The ease of pairing and the quality of the sound. I opened the box which arrived today 2/20, charged the unit and went on a 3 mile ride. I called my wife while riding my Goldwing, she had NO idea that I was on the bike. That was the good. The bad, the only bad comment I have is the sizing is not even close to being accurate. I typically wear an XXL, my current lid is a Bell, fits a little loose and it's an XXL. I measured my noggin and came up with 23 1/4" circumference, according to the chart I should have ordered a large. My nose and chin pressed against the inside of the helmet, the helmet fogged up unless I was riding, my ears were pressed uncomfortably against the ear/speaker pads. I plan on doing some heavy riding, I thought maybe over time the pads would soften up and I could tolerate the pinch points until then. I realized that comfort is key to riding any long distances and I really don't want to go through that break-in period. I even went back to the size options hoping there was an XXXL size available, nope. I am returning it on 2/20.

Fantastic first helmet
I've bought 3 different types of helmets, first one was a modular from Amazon for 230$ with Bluetooth, it was fine Bluetooth and sound was fine as well, but the first problem I faced was at speed above 50 mph if I turned my head the wind would push it sideways, second helmet was a modular scorpio t950, okay helmet payed 195$, very noisy, it was light and very nicely built with no Bluetooth, third one was this helmet, I didn't have much expectation but to my surprise it's a great helmet, not as light as the scorpio but lighter than the first one, the Bluetooth is absolutely great, noise level and clarity is perfect for the price, aerodynamic is great even at 90 mph, wind noise is minimal for the price, I use safety earplugs for the sake of not losing my hearing. I do recommend this helmet, even though the color available wasn't fit with my clothing set and my bike, still I chose to go with this one and make it work because of all the good things this helmet offers. Google and siri support, Bluetooth, modular, built in visor and all the accessories available. If this is your first affordable helmet this checks all the boxes.

Excellent value
Does it perform like my old trusty Shoei, no. That helmet has less wind noise and performs better at high speed. Is the audio quality excellent, no. Very little bass, kinda trebly, distorts at full volume- but I’m an audiophile (car, truck, and house all have upgraded audio). That being said, this is a most excellent helmet for the price. Modular system works very well: easy on and off, simple to flip up to communicate or take a sip of a beverage. Coms work excellent! Huge range and clear voice. Calls are hard to take, too much road nose comes though at speed, but it does work in a pinch. Skip the wave app, stick with the Sena app. Built in, flip down sun glasses work well. Also fits my daily glasses or sunglasses as well. Easy to take apart and clean. Best bang for the buck in my opinion

Not exactly what I was hoping for
The sizing on this helmet runs small. I measure for a Large, usually buy an Extra Large, but had to go for a 2X Large. That being said, it was a little snug on the sides, but had a good fit overall. It is a helmet I had high hopes for. It's a good helmet, but has some issues Sena needs to work through, which caused me to send it back. 1. I could not get it to pair with my smartphone and an MP3 player at the same time. If my smart phone was paired, it would cancel out the MP3 player's pairing. 2. The sound seemed okay when I was listening to it at home. However, when I went to go on a ride, the left speaker was kind of raspy. After a few minutes the music started to cut in and out, becoming statically annoying. I didn't know if it was the helmet or the new MP3 player I was using. I hooked up the MP3 player to some ear buds and it worked just fine. So it was either the helmet or the bluetooth connection. 3. The straw that broke the camels back, so to speak. I ride a touring bike with fairings and a full windshield, so I don't get a lot of wind hitting my head. Up to about 40 to 50 miles an hour, the helmet was a little noisier than I was expecting. (In all fairness, it's a motorcycle helmet and some noise is to be expected with any helmet.) However, once I got up to between 60 and 75 miles an hour the wind and road noise was intolerable. It was so bad I could hardly hear the music playing through the earbuds I was using. Much noisier than other helmets I have used, full face or modular. Removing the earbuds and replacing them with earplugs wouldn't even shut out the noise sufficiently. This helmet would propably be adequate for riding around town, but on the open road at highway speeds, it is sadly lacking.
