I bought it for my son when he was 5, and he has been using it for over one year. The helmet fits him quite well, and it is still in good shape as shown in the attached photos. Since he is in the age of dino-lover, the first thing my son likes is the 3-D triceratops design - very recognizable. He got positive comments from our neighbors and local passbys every time when he bikes. I can tell he feel special and probably be proud of himself when he is riding a bike with this helmet. The three horns are made of good plastic. They are just stiff enough to keep the shape but is still soft - do not hurt or poke. These horns are actually glued on top of the helmet. The bond resistance is quite good. As I said, my son used for over a year, and the horns still stick on. The adjustable nylon strap is well-made too. 5/8" width of strap reduces the contact pressure There is a minor thing that I noticed is the helmet only has 2 holes on the back top - it should put more vents holes (see the attached pictures). This helmet sometime makes my son's head a little wet. Considering the outstanding 3-D design and overall quality, I give 5-stars with no doubt.

Child size fits my 4 year olds head, just a touch loose on his head, but sits snug enough as long as the chin strap is nice and tight. Had I sized down to the toddler size he would have outgrown it before the end of summer. Not too heavy for him to wear. My older son has a shark one similar to this that has lasted quite some time. Perfect helmet for my dino loving boy.

Clearly, even my dog enjoys this item! Not only is it extremely adorable, but the adjustment capability is perfect for our child. He is six years old fits his head perfectly and has shown to give the protection we as parents Are looking for! The brightness of the green is not too neon, so it matches perfectly with any outfit! It’s very lightweight and always puts a smile on our face whenever we see our little one using it 😍

Really, it is too large for my 5 year old whom I bought it for. The good news, is that he will grow into it and that he has an older brother for whom this does fit, so we have 3 helmets for 3 bike riders. So I will not takes stars of even though correct sizing is always fair game for reviews. The helmet itself is attractive and seems to be sturdy enough without causing my son's head to hurt. We never want to know what kind of impact it can sustain, but I feel good watching my son wear this as he bikes and scooters.

Easy to adjust the strap. Dinosaur horns and frill seem durable so far. Child loves it!

This is a great helmet! My son will be 3 in June and the helmet fits great with room to grow. He wore it right away and stayed in it for quite some time. It definitely gives me peace of mind knowing he’s protected now that he’s learning to use his balance bike and getting more comfortable with it.

C'mon, just look at this hat. Tell me that's not the most boss dino hat you've ever seen. Sure, growing up when I did was great and all: no social media, no phubbing, no lame sport utes (family station wagons ftw!), but did we have famous dinosaur hats like this? No sir, we did not! Fact of the matter, we didn't wear bike helmets anyway, but still. If we had dino hats like this we might have! Definitely maybe! And if you care about more than just sharp looks (nerd!), this hat has held up well for two or three years now, it's solidly made, feels heavy-duty and the wearer hasn't had any head injuries (yet), so you can't beat that! Buy one!
