I see a lot of reviews comparing this fabric to a shower curtain. I bought it to replace the $12 shower curtains I had been using because (1) It's cheaper: buy the larger size and you get twice the length for only about 10% more $. (2) This fabric is much lighter in weight, which in itself is reason enough to use this instead of a shower curtain. (3) The quality of light is better, and it's easier to get rid of wrinkles in this fabric than a shower curtain. (4) It's more durable and tear-resistant compared to a shower curtain. In sum, you may think you're being frugal by using a shower curtain, but you're just suffering with heavier, creased and more easily torn material. I wish I had looked this up before I thought I was saving money using shower curtains.

This is a good product for the price. If you expect something to be perfect square, perfectly durable, perfectly made, you should probably keep looking. It does the job though.

I use this diffuser for filming and have used it with the key light on one film so far. It worked great. The quality is good, the material is durable, and the softness from it is perfect for my needs. The overall size of it is fantastic allowing me to double it over when needed. It softens the light without losing too much brightness. It does get pretty wrinkled when packed up however when pulled tight it's not too noticeable.

An amazing piece of fabric. It changed my lighting setup options greatly. I’ve created various custom modifiers with just this one piece of fabric. Overlapping the fabric smoothly, yet drastically diffuses ANY flash power stop (i.e. 1/1, 1/2...). It’s amazing.

While this is listed as diffusion "fabric," it definitely is more plastic than plant based. I imagine a white plastic/nylon tablecloth would accomplish the same result. That said, functionally it works fine and was cheap for the project I needed at the time.

I was hoping that this would arrive on a roller, but it came folded with many fold creases. I transferred it to a roller, hoping that the creases would come out, but in about 2 weeks on the roller they have not completely come out. I hope steaming it will remove the fold lines and creases. If not, it will be almost useless to me. I like the quality of the fabric though, and if I can get it flat, it should do very well for my need.

Does not come with the stand as you may speculate with the image provided. As others have said, it's essentially just a shower curtain you can get from the dollar store for cheaper. It does diffuse well though (a little too well if you ask me)
