D'Addario Auto Lock Polypro Guitar Strap, Black

Perfect for those who like their guitars to remain at a playable height while standing, instead of clattering to the floor. The auto locks work really well, and feel pretty secure. Though I'm not one for extravagant windmills or leaping from the monitor like a drunken lord. D'addario generally make good stuff, and this remains the case.

Functional and robust locking mechanism holds the guitar securely. Made from a strong material and is well manufactured. Comfortable to wear.

Does the job. Strap locks are good quality. However, the strap itself feels rather cheap, would have preferred it to be a bit thicker / more padded. That being said, it works as intended!

Does what it says on the tin

I like the locking mechanism and the ease in which it pops on/off, but the materials feel fairly cheap (I suppose that’s indicative of the price). My big gripe is the length of the strap, not one for taller players who like to rock out like a demigod.

That is a game changer. I’ve been struggling with different locking mechanisms and this one just works without any additional installation required. Fits most of my guitars - it’s just slightly smaller for my Jackson dinky but still works.

I recently bought a 40 year old Steinberger XL-2. The strap buttons on the swivel plate which it hangs from were of different sizes and I wasn't able to use the old Grolsch bottle washer trick to keep the strap on. I saw this strap and took a punt. It works perfectly and the bass was secured perfectly. However, the strap itself is very stiff and during rehearsal it would cut into my neck. I've ordered what I hope is a softer version, otherwise this strap would have got 5 stars.

I’m using it on a Rickenbacker 4003 bass because I wanted it to be more secure. Looks good, works good, and is very secure.
