Best tool for the job!
So you dig for buried treasure too,eh? Well if you are using one of those plastic handled shovels you might as well be using a spork from a food place. We all know that sometimes when cleaning the box that you wonder when did the elephant slip into your house and use the box? Or does your fur child seem to be peeing as much as a cow? Well in order to excavate that mass of "kitty klump" you need something that can handle the weight and as much capacity as you can get so you're done with that spot in one to two scoops. This has a durable finish, the covering on the handle holds up very well to constant use. The flat edge on the end of the spade is very useful for scrapping off the "kitty stucco finish" that comes from stuff drying into a mass of "kit-crete". The slots allow for dry litter to fall away fairly easily. Sure some small pieces of used litter may slip through but your shoveling a cat box not conducting archeology where you need every small piece to solve the mystery. There is no mystery as to where this stuff comes from. The shape of the spade is really well engineered. If you hold it so from the side it looks like a straight edge from the tip of the spade (the shiny looking business end) to the end of the handle you will notice the spade section increases in capacity and drops down to hold the load like a cupped hand. That my friends is the characteristics of a spade designed to lever into a mass, pick up a load equal to its capacity, and move it from one spot to another. This spade has the quality design of a well made coal shovel. Once the indispensable tool of industry. And just like the endless task of feeding coal to the fire, when you are on day 666 of shoveling cat poop you want your tool to be as efficient as possible. This was the very first thing I bought when we were prepping for our first kitty. Twenty five years later and I am still using the same sturdy tool. The handle is worn but still in great shape. I probably will be buried with it like a warrior with his sword. Ready to scoop poop for eternity when I meet my past kitties on the other side. You already have consigned yourself to be a slave to your cat. But why slave away trying to clean a box with a useless tool? Work smarter not harder, do yourself a favor, invest in one of these scoopers. Plus it rinses off really easy so it doubles as a ice cream scooper! (Only kidding unless you like Rocky Road)

Best scoop ever.
I now have three of these. Best scoop ever. It’s large to help get the job done fast. The holes are spaced perfectly to pick up what you want yet let litter flow through. It is solidly built - no bending or breaking. Soft grip handle is comfy to hold. And best of all, it doesn’t hurt my wrist or hand. The shape of it is such that it takes the brunt of the work. No more wrist pain. My sister complained of wrist pain scooping for her furries so I sent her one. She loves it too. Seriously, skip the rest and get this scoop!

Sturdy and easy to clean
Very sturdy! Wide so it scoops well and sifts well. Easy to clean.

Perfect for multi-cat households
Great product. Works well for multi cat households. I have one cat that digs to the bottom of the pan to urinate, then covers it. It makes it tougher to scoop with traditional scoopers, but this one makes it easier. One issue: the rubber covering begins to loosen and turn after some time. Other than that, excellent scooper. Long lasting. My second time purchasing this item in several years.

Best pooper scooper ever
You know you are a crazy cat lady when you can say that you love a pooper scooper. Well I am...this scooper is the best thing ever for kitty litter. I have tried the 3 level litter box that sifts as you pick up then turn and replace on the bottom of the remaining 2. It's a joke...1st it is hard to clean the stuck on litter off and between 2nd leaves a mess on your floor. Also, I have tried the sifting bags. They work great but in my opinion are horrible for the environment due to a small amount of waste compared to bag size. So I bought this wonderful scooper. It is very sturdy much much better than the plastic ones. So, yes I love the pooper scooper. Very easy to get the stuck on stuff and cleans off easily. I have small hands, so the handle is great because it is small and easy to grip. Over all it is a great tool for someone who hates litter but loves their fur babies

This strong young thing...(*Updated*)
I have been using the cheap plastic scoop which I bought 14 years ago. It has got the job done pretty well. It has met a few challenging situations which I call Code Iceberg but with my little help we still managed to complete the mission. Lately it has been having some problems of going soft on hard clumps and sifting the sand due to the roughed surface of the plastic body. I felt it's time to let it go so it could enjoy its retirement and get a new one. This young new scoop is strong and smooth. The handle feels just right in my hand. It has sturdiness to push where it needs to be pushed. It gets the job done real fast.(in a good way) I think I'm in love too like all other people here. *One thing I don't like much is how it feels when the metal scrapes the corner/bottom of the litter box. **UPDATE: I've been using it almost for a month and it's still a 5 star scoop. Of course it's not perfect perfect but for this price? It definitely deserves 5 stars. I was just checking out 1 star reviews wondering why anyone would think this is one star scoop. Somehow they were so fun to read so I kept reading 2 star reviews too. Most reasons were that it was way too big. One person said it was more for lions, not for cats. haha >< My two male cats weigh 18 lbs each. They are not fat at all. Just their frame is big. One of them once had a problem with urinary track health and after that I got rid of the dry food and only feed the can food mixed with extra water. No problem whatsoever since then but they pee like a waterfall. The size of the clump is as big as an iceberg. With a plastic scoop a great deal of force needed to be applied and sometimes it just couldn't do the job because it bent. This strong&big metal scoop needs much less power and less scooping actions. It's purrfect for my cats. But then again I remember when I took care of my friend's tiny female cats for a while I was so shocked at how small the amount/size of the clumps they produced was. So if you have a tiny cat that makes tiny pee clumps this scoop is maybe not for you.

"It's Awesome!" *UPDATE* IT BROKE AFTER 8mo
I was reluctant to spend $13 on a litter scoop, when I could just spend $1 at the store on one that 'got the job done just fine,' .. or so i thought. My husband and I recently ended up rescuing a small army of cats. Every room of our house there are cats, and at least 1 litter box. Needless to say, we scoop a lot of litter every day! My husband has taken oven litter duty, and he kept breaking my cheap little dollar store scoopers. So I decided it was time to look into investing in a decent litter scoop. I searched Amazon for a while before deciding on this scooper. There's another one I left in my cart, in case this one didn't work out, but after my husband's reaction last night, I don't think we'll need it. After he finished doing the boxes last night, I asked him "So how's the new scoop?" His reaction: "IT'S AWESOME!" He said: 1.) it greatly cut his scoop time down; (which is especially helpful since we both have back issues. The less time spent bent over, the better!) 2.) he can move around more litter at once without worrying about the scoop bending, like the plastic ones; 3.) the holes are a good size and the clumps don't break apart; 4.) and it does a good job of scraping the bottom of the boxes, so you don't miss any clumps that are usually stuck to the bottom. After letting my husband do the honors of using it first, later that night I briefly used it myself, and I have to agree with all the points he had made. (He even suggested we throw out all our plastic scoopers, and only use this one, so I guess I need to buy a few more of these lol) I also want to point out that even though it's all metal, it didn't feel super heavy. Obviously much heavier than the flimsy plastic ones, but not so heavy that you'd easily get fatigued using it for a while. The handle also felt comfortable; the width (girth?) felt like a good size. And there's even a hole at the end in case you want to hang it up between uses. We have litter boxes that are all shapes and sizes. Square, triangular, round; shallow, deep; covered, uncovered, etc. and this scoop worked well on each one. We only use regular clay scoopable cat litter, (because it's honestly the only thing we can afford,) so I can't comment on how it works on other types of cat litter. But on scoopable clay litter, it works beautifully. I took some rough measurements while taking pictures for this review. They're not laser accurate, but they're close enough to let you know what to expect if you bought it. Total length: Slightly over 13" Handle length: ~7 1/2" Scoop area length: ~5 3/4" Scoop area width: ~5 1/2" Scoop area depth: ~1 1/2" Scoop flat edge width: ~5 1/4" Sifting holes are about 1/2cm wide One of the reasons I was slightly hesitant to go with this company is because in the listing it states that the color handle you receive will vary. I'm usually not very good when it comes to surprises, but I tried to convince myself that 'it's just a litter scooper; who cares about the color of the handle.' The color I ended up receiving was pink. It doesn't look quite as nice as the teal they show in their pictures, but it's alright. I'd prefer to spend an extra couple dollars and actually be able to choose the color myself though. Since the scoop is solid metal from end to end, I expect it to be quite durable and last, at a minimum, a few years. (Even the cheap $1 plastic ones would last 6mo-1yr.) I am giving it 5 stars for now, but if anything starts to go south within the next year or so, I will definitely update this review. Let me know if you have any questions I might be able to answer. I hope you found this review and/or the pictures helpful. :) UPDATE: We've been using this scoop for almost a month now, and i gotta say, my husband and I still love it as much as we did when we first got it. It really does make scooping the boxes a million times faster. So far I literally have no complaints whatsoever. It really IS awesome! I'll definitely be buying more, so we don't have to carry this one from room to room. UPDATE #2: It broke after 8 months of use. (See pics) I ended up buying another one to replace it, but I'm going to have to knock a star off my rating. I'm hoping it was just a fluke, but if any more break, I think I'll have to find something more durable. :/

Sturdy and easy to use!
First off, we love this scooper. I bought this to replace a plastic scooper that broke. There's nothing more annoying than doing an unpleasant chore and having the littler scooper break. So, I went in search of a metal scooper. The pet store wanted $30 for theirs. In my opinion, that's a little much to spend on something you shovel poop with. So, I searched Amazon and came across this one. In my opinion, this is a tremendous value! Here's why: THIS A VERY STURDY SCOOPER: It's very, very sturdy. I can't imagine this scooper breaking under normal circumstances, or any cirsumstances, for that matter. It's fairly heavy, but my 8 & 9 year-old girls have no trouble using it to scoop the cat box. THE GRIP IS COMFORTABLE: The rubbery grip on the handle makes it comfortable to hold and keeps it from slipping in your hand. It also makes it easy to spot And identify the scooper when my 4 year old son decides to rearrange things in the room. THEBSLOTS IN THEBSCOOP ARE PERFECTLY SPACED: The slots in the scoop are spaced nicely for our clumping littler. This scoop does a great job sifting out the clean litter and keeping the used litter to be dumped. This is kind of a big deal to me because it means less frequent total litter-box changes. That's saves us both time and money! THE EDGE CUTS EASILY THROUGH THE LITTER: The scooper edge is shaped so that it cuts easily through the litter with out having to wiggle or use much force. When you have clumps stuck to the sides or bottom, it gets between the clump and the plastic nicely allowing you to remove more clumps in one piece. THE BIG SCOOP MAKES THE CHORE GO TWICE AS FAST: This scoop was much larger than I expected it to be. It's hard to get perspective from the photos shown here. At first, I was disappointed, but my husband said to try it out before deciding it's too big. What I found is that the larger scoop makes the chore go twice as fast. Soooo... I am a fan of the big scoop! I'll never buy one of those little plastic things again.

The Litter Scoop That Laughs in the Face of Clumps: 1.5 Years Later, Still a Beast
I bought this scoop back in March 2024, and as I’m writing this in November 2025, it’s still going strong — and trust me, with four cats, this thing has seen some things. Build Quality (aka: Indestructible Metal Pancake Turner of Doom) • This is the rare tool that feels like it was forged in the fires of Mount Doom for the sole purpose of battling clumps. • Solid metal, no flex, no bending, no cracking. • The handle hasn’t loosened. • The scoop hasn’t warped. • It hasn’t rusted. • It hasn’t even blinked in the face of daily scooping. If my house burned down, this scoop would probably survive and judge me for not scooping earlier. Performance (yes, I’m reviewing performance of a poop tool) • It sifts quickly. • It holds a lot at once. • The slots are perfectly sized so clean litter falls through fast and the clumps stay put. You know those scoops where you have to aggressively shake them like you’re trying to sift gold in the Yukon? Yeah, no. This one just does its job gracefully. Grip & Comfort (my wrist noticed the difference) The rubber handle is actually comfortable — no slipping, no digging into your skin, even during the great 4-box cleaning marathon. The questions I had before buying: I included a video, so you can see the movement, the angle, and the sturdiness. • It is metal • The grip is comfy. After 1.5 years it’s still intact and hasn’t degraded. • Does the mirror finish come off? Nope. It’s not paint — nothing has rubbed off. • It’s heavier than plastic, but in that reassuring, this-thing-won’t-bend kind of way. Durability Verdict After 1.5 years of daily scooping, I can confidently say that this scoop will probably outlive me and be inherited by future generations. ⭐ Final Thoughts If you’re tired of flimsy scoops that bend, crack, or shame you for owning multiple cats… this is the one. I genuinely didn’t know I could like a litter scoop... but here we are.

Proper piece of kit
I discovered this after reading a review for the Guru scoop holder. The reviewer highlighted this as the ultimate scoop. It took a while to arrive and I would have like to have chosen the colour of the handle, but as luck would have it, I was sent the one I wanted anyway. This is a super-scoop indeed. Heavy and sturdy. I don't think I could damage this even if I tried. And it is really good at doing what it's made for. Easy to use. As it's large, it is quick to use and the holes feel well-positioned. I like that there are solid bits at the side so that any small bits that fall through the holes can be captured. Overall, a scoop for life. If you have a litter tray, then you should definitely get one of these.

Jedenfalls meine Einstellung.

Makes less work out of scooping litter.
Nicer to use than the plastic ones.
