This soundbar and sub bundle is superb for any medium size to large size room. The sound travels very well as does the bass. We have two in the house, one I the kitchen/ open plan and one in the bedroom. With modern flat screens you cannot be expecting good sound unfortunately, making these purchases essential in order to enjoy the sonic aspect of your movies. Speaking of which, it also has a dialogue enhancer which makes the voices more audible when lowering volume for night time viewing. The system is very good for music as well and has a music EQ preset, as well as adjustable bass levels. It connects to the TV using HDMI CEC and operates flawlessly, allowing for you to use your TV remote to adjust volume meaning you don't need to use the sound bar remote unless you're altering the source or adjusting EQ's/ dialogue settings. This is a great piece of kit and if night in the sale will be punching way above its price bracket. FYI, I purchased my two for circa £190 a few years back.

I have two flat screen TVs in the house, one in the bedroom and the other in the ‘gym’. I have found modern TVs to be lacking when it comes to sound, often variable when streaming. Having done a bit of research I found this model which was attractive as I’ve I’ve used the brand before and there was a deal on the price. I didn’t want to commit to more expensive options not having used a sound bar previously. So I bought two. I’m really pleased. Easy to install and come with all you need. The sub is cableless and the end result looks good. Easy to control with the remote and the sound bar switches on and off with the TV. Both mine used ARC so only needed the hdmi cable, optical also included if that’s needed. Out of the box I found the sub to be very strong. This is easy to dial down with the remote. In the bedroom, with soft furnishings, that was enough. In the ‘gym’ the engineered floor and spare furnishings made the sub difficult to dial down sufficiently. I had a spare piece of flooring which the gym equipment sits on and cut a piece to go under the sub. Marvellous. I can also now hear high sounds and infill much better too. For example, bird song and an enhanced audio experience thinking of the chase scenes in the Bourne trilogy. I’m now looking at internet radio to Bluetooth to the bar.

Overall I'm really pleased with this soundbar. It has great quality sound and has no problem with producing loud volume that completely fills the room. The wireless subwoofer is great and does the job very well. It has worked flawlessly over the few months I've been using it. I have the soundbar at the front of the room and the subwoofer at the back of the room and it's great not having to worry about running cables around to connect them. I have had a few niggles that it's worth mentioning: - I had originally connected this to my projector using a 3.5mm analogue audio cable. This works, but has some small problems. When the audio signal is silent for a few seconds, the soundbar seems to go into a power-saving mode, such that the very start of the next sound is missed. Generally this is unimportant, but when watching programmes that have silence followed by short sounds (such as snooker), the sound can be missed entirely (the cue hitting the ball had no sound over and over again). This problem does not occur when using an SPDIF optical audio cable, so this probably won't affect many people. I tested this on two soundbar units and the same problem occurred on both. - It was also not possible to connect my projector to the soundbar using Bluetooth. Denon customer support said that it was not intended to be used in this way, and that the Bluetooth feature was for connecting phones for music playback. - The remote control is a little awkward to use, with buttons that need heavy presses and labels that are pretty well invisible in a dark room. I have configured my FireTV remote to control the power and volume however, and that's pretty much all that's needed, so the remote remains unused most of the time anyway. Other than that I have no complaints. I ended up buying an HDMI switcher with SPDIF audio extractor to resolve the audio problems, which was a slight extra expense but not the end of the world.

For the price, this is an awesome quality soundbar with woofer which has made a big difference to my LG OLED TV. Pros: - Easy fast set-up - just plug & play. Bluetooth phone connection was easy and very fast. - Very good clarity on voice + a dialogue enhancer for clearer speech - Deep Earth moving bass enough to wake up the dead! The floor and my ribs literally vibrated! N.b. Please check your neighbours aren't in before playing your favourite rock ballads! - Soundbar very slim & ergonomic. Fits under TV without obscuring picture. - Good build quality without cheap materials - Well packaged in protective foam Areas for Improvement - The controls on the remote would benefit from being lit up or at least painted luminously as it's impossible to see the control markings for the functions in low light. - The volume control isn't shown / indicated on the TV screen although the TV controller works and shows the volume on my LG OLED TV However, these are minor niggles and I'm very pleased with my purchase. Overall I think this is a quality sound bar and great value for money which I highly recommend.

I dont normally writes review but I bought this product based on the reviews so I might as well do one! I will keep it short and simple without any complicated technical words. I pay £178 on the sale price. For the brand ansld quality of the product I think is a bargain! It is literally plug and play obviously you have to connect the HDMI and bluetooth. I am no rookie with sound system. I used to have denon AVR 7.1 channel but is nit compatible with my latest samsung TV so instead of spending few humdreds to thousands for a new AVR.. I opted for sound bar with subwoofer! The sound is amazing you can definitely feel the bass, clear sound for music and films... defitnitely worth a buy.

I have another Denon sound bar in a different room. All good, this system is perfectly adequate for a normally sized room (25ft x 20ft). Good sound quality and extended base. Well made units, Bluetooth is very useful for the sub woofer, you can locate it where you like providing that there is mains power available.

Got this to replace a smaller bar which using elsewhere. Easy to set up and build quality and finish of bar ok. The woofer is a bit ore “basic” in its look and feel Size of bar is good and has a weight feel, the sub not so great. I wasn’t immediately impressed by the sound TBH it’s just ok. Handles power from sources well with little distortion unless at the top end of source output Bass seemed to jump around a bit so would often kick in on the woofer on vocals, trying true voice never really helped to resolve. On music it was ok but nothing to stand out from the crowd. To my ears it sounds pretty hollow, missing midrange in favour of highs and low. The absence of an app to tweak is in my opinion a real weakness of this product as it can’t be tweaked to fine tune personal preferences I was using HDMI ARC to drive from the TV which worked as expected, and 2.5mm jack to input Alexa for background music. Both of these are just ok nothing great to shout about for this bar. After a few days I got a fair bit of cracking on the 3,5 jack with dropouts. Tried the usual- different input, different leads and a load of wiggling but to no effect. A call to the tech guys helpful but concluded it was probably a dry connections on the pcb. So now it’s gone back for a refund and I’ll reconsider my choices going forward I can’t in all honesty recommend this as it’s average at best Sorry denon

A perfect. Sound system for smaller area/room. Perfect combination of sound clarity and bass. Subwoofer connection automatically disconnected after 2 months of use.. Tried lot of methods suggested by trouble shooting videos but no result.

Barre de son , Demon DHT S316 très bon rapport qualité prix , reçu dans les temps. J'aime le fait de pouvoir brancher ma télé en hdmi arc , ma vieille chaîne hiffi sony via l'entrée auxiliaire Jack ( du coup j'ai supprimé mes 2 bafs...barre de son meilleur son) et mon téléphone ou ma tablette en Bluetooth. Le son est très bon les basses bien présentes. Les petits défaut c'est le manque d'affichage sur la barre , seulement 4 diodes qui indique dans quel mode on se trouve , et quand on règle le volume ou les basse seulement une diode cliente pour indiquer quel à bien reçu le signal . Mais on si habitu et une fois la barre allumé et un premier réglage, tout se passe sur votre télé, téléphone ou chaîne hiffi.

2ème achat, très bon son, bonnes basses, assez puissant pour sonoriser home cinema ou soirée d'une pièce de 30m2.
