We are an artistic house hold my 7 year old daughter loves to paint rocks and this kit was so well I loved that the rocks were all flat and able to paint on them well. It was filled with jewels , glitter paint pens and brushes and paint and this is a great kit the price your kiddos will not be disappointed the box does seem smaller than I anticipated it to be but we still had so much fun creating together at the table as a family we had lots of rocks to add to her collection. This rock painting kit is an absolute blast! From the moment we opened the box, my kids were hooked. The variety of paints is fantastic – vibrant, easy to apply, and they dry quickly. The included brushes are perfect for both fine details and covering larger areas. The rocks themselves are smooth and just the right size for little hands. My 5 year old daughter really liked it. We've spent hours creating colorful critters and inspirational messages to hide around our neighborhood. It’s a fantastic way to spark creativity and get the kids outdoors. Clean-up is a breeze too! Highly recommend for family fun! Great for 5-10 year olds!

The kids love to do crafts so I was looking for things to bring for Thanksgiving. I am so thankful I ordered two of these. They started out painting rocks for over two hours left for an hour and went back to painting some more - they painted so many rocks. They ran out of rocks and went outside to get more. This was hours and hours of entertainment. I have to admit I got this because I wanted to paint rocks There is enough paint and gems and accessories for each kit. The kids ages were 3, 6 and eight and I won’t tell you my age. But each one of us had a great time and we got some really pretty and interesting rocks. I did, however, order extra paintbrushes just to make sure we would all have one.

The box and description decently described the items but need correction (unless I got a faulty box): Not waterproof Got 2 metallic paints The age range says 6+. I would say 6+ but you need an adult as the packaging and especially the paint pots are hard to open. This was given to a 7 year old. As an adult I had to do multiple attempts at opening it. Makes it a problem for kids and tweens to paint. Pros: 12 actually smooth rocks (rare in a rock kit claiming its smooth. they do have a coating so I recommend washing them)! Fun gems, stickers, and transfers. However having an adult to help young kids understand the transfers go on before paint is possibly needed. This decreases the independence and ease of use. We also liked there was 2 paint brushes and a sponge. The price was great. Cons: Has to have more direction and supervision with younger kids. Paints are not all metallic and waterproof as described. You would need a sealer if you wanted to save it. Paint pots are hard to open. For this reason I gave it a 4/5.

I get these every year when we do our rock unit for the kids at school. The perfect size and it comes with so many different accessories to decorate the rocks. Perfect for my five year olds!

This is a you get what you pay for example. Cheap enterainment if you have patience. Half the rocks I received are barely bigger than a quarter so hard to paint designs for kids. The paint does not coat the rocks unless you do several costs. Paint is hard to open so definitely need adult help. Rocks can be washed clean after drying so the paint isn't permanent unless you clear coat it. I wouldn't buy this item again personally as you would get more for your buck just buying rocks and paint at any store.

Steine recht klein, für Kinderhände zu klein. Farben decken nicht so gut auf der grauen Farbe der Steine. Man muss mindestens zweimal, wenn nicht dreimal bemalen. Nur schwarz deckt gut.
