Really great board, I'm running a Ryzen 5600, 32bg ram and a XFX 7600xt, 2x M.2, 1x Sata SSD & 1x HDD. The only issue I ran into with my build was with the Sata port placement. If you have a lo ger Gpu then the ports get covered up and it can be very tricky to get the sata cables connected.

A good board for the price. The form factor is a bit cramped, making the Pcie 2nd slot practically useless - no way could you fit 2 GPUs on it. The VRM produces quite a bit of heat, so you need to be careful with airflow. For example don't blow air over the VRM blocks into your CPU cooler - suck the air out of the case instead. Other than being a bit cramped it's a good board with plenty of USB 3 ports, 4 SATA connections and a slot for a 2nd Nvme drive. Has been stable so far, with several weeks of daily use.

Arrived well packaged and new, as some have said the boxes were open well this one wasn’t it was sealed. I paired it with a new ryzen 7 5700x. Now this cpu will work with this motherboard but not out the box. You need to go to the gigabyte website and download the latest bios. Make sure you get the correct revision. The revision is on the white label on the box so this one was rev 1.7. Download the bios from the website, extract the folder and place the update bin file on a usb stick formatted to fat32. Then rename the update file to gigabyte.bin. Put usb stick in the usb port which has bios next to it on the io panel and press the a flash button. Wait for it to update ( about 3 mins max ) there is a little led in the board next to the a flash button which when it stops flashing the update is done. That’s it the board will now suppprt the latest Ryzen CPUs. Also, the motherboard would only boot with 1 stick of RAM, which I thought was strange. To get it to work with 2 sticks I had to boot into bios with just 1 stick installed and change the ram profile to xmp profile 1. Save and exit. I installed the other stick of RAM and it works fine. Been using it all day yesterday and today and it’s amazing. The auto overclock boost works well. after having this motherboard for a couple of months now I have found it to be excellent. i have manually overclocked the CPU to 4.7ghz and it has been stable and good. I have recently just built another system with an identical CPU but went with a b550 msi Tomahawk. I would say the gigabyte is equally as good as the MSI motherboard in fact I prefer the gigabyte.

This is an excellent value small (micro) ATX board for a decent spec budget PC build. There are many features built in. PCIe 4 support, 2 x M2 SSD slots including a fast one for your system drive, All the B550 bells & Whistles for the latest 5000 series AMD CPU's, Revamped pretty and extensive easy to set up Gigabyte BIOS with the built in BIOS flash from USB memory stick (without the need for plugging in Graphics card keyboard HD etc.), decent sound quality etc. etc. The downsides are few (but could be significant if you need to add any PCI expansion cards) The big drawback is that with a dual sized graphics card the 2 spare slots on the motherboard are obscured and so unusable. (e.g. no PCI sound card can be added). It should also be noted that some of the older AMD socket AM4 CPU's aren't supported by AMD's B550 chipset. Other than the minor limitations above this motherboard is up to the usual high quality Gigabyte standard and is a great board for an easily overclockable Windows 11 build which I would have no hesitation using again. (NB review based on Amazon price of £72.99 in early 2022).

Great board. Always buy Gigabyte, always have. Runs Infinity Nikki with 5600XT, 32GB ram and 6600GT 2xOC GPU. Just missing WIFI and bluetooth, so had to add a card for that. BIOS is very user friendly. Rock solid. ARGB led stuff works great too. Factor in the WIFI though, only caveat.

I bought this to build a cheap AM4 proxmox home server with a Ryzen 5600X and ECC ram. ECC RAM (Micron unbuffered ECC) works without issue and I'm even able to boot the system without a GPU once quick boot is enabled in the BIOS. Gigabyte has a good history of this working without issue and don't restrict their boards arbitrarily hence I picked them over other brands, along with solid reliability. It's a shame theres only two case fan headers (plus the CPU cooler) so I had to use a splitter to add a third fan, but this isn't really an issue and works fine. Overall a great board if you're on a budget without many compromises.

excellent board and variety of cpu support

I bought two of these motherboards and I have just realised the WiFi connectors on the motherboards are missing .it should be between the usb ports and the ethernet connectors on the back. So beware buying these motherboards 😡

This is the best motherboard for the AM4 socket and all the AM4 based processors. supports PCIe 4.0 for and comes with 2 M. 2 NVME slots, 2 PCie slots. speeds may vary based on the usage of these slots together. 4 DDR4 RAM slots which can be OC ed. not using IG, so didn't test the display ports. Using Ryzen 5 5500 CPU and kind of under config for this high end chipset.

Non posso lamentarmi, scheda eccellente, ho montato 32gb di ram, un Ryzen 7 5700X che gira da dio e posso confermare che è una configurazione incredibile con cui lavoro nel camòpo del 3D. Spero resti stabile nel tempo!

Muy buena placa base, todo funciona a la perfección y como se esperaba. Me encantó que venga bien actualizada para detectar procesadores de 5ª generación de AMD, por lo que me ahorré hacer un flash BIOS. Tiene 4 bancos de memoria y, la verdad, por el precio la calidad está bastante bien. Muy recomendable para montar un PC de sobremesa potente sin gastar mucho.
