Jackson Safety Maxview Face Shield, Uncoated Clear Tint for Work ANSI Z87.1

This is one of those purchases, that once you have it, you wonder why you didnt get it years ago. What a wonderful addition to any shop/garage/DYI'r. I do a considerable amount of detailed sanding, grinding & polishing. Was constantly getting hit with particles, dust & debris and have gone thru more than 1 pair of prescription glasses due to scratches and pitting. This unit is crystal clear and I can wear my scripts under it the entire time without worry of damaging them! With its really wide lense, you could almost forget you are wearing it. No feeling what so ever of being closed in. Visability is top notch. It can & will fog up a bit if temps are cooler. Its comfortable and very light weight and thus far has performed better than I could have ever expected. Highly recommended, especially if you have to wear glasses for close up work.

This is a must have when using a grinder, when working under a truck or car. Face shield is strong and Deflects objects flying at speed , like broken grinder wheels. Awesome shield well worth the money don’t waste your money on cheaper shields this shield work awesome. The shield is super adjustable to fit on your head, very easy to use turn knob. Very comfortable as well, and light weight. Very well designed. It covers your entire face so you’re well protected. Just a awesome face shield

Good fit. Same headgear as my welding helmet. Easy changeout for the shield 'lens;', Provides extra support and protection relative to the basic frameless shields, while being MUCH more comfortable, is a big plus when using a grinder or wire brush. Trust me. Worth it. You DO NOT want to go to the ER to have a wire removed from your eye. It is worse than it sounds. I can STILL feel it twenty years later. (the z87 safety glasses are why I still have an eye at all, but a shield like this would have prevented the issue) Don't forget to wear you glasses underneath, as well. Extra protection for a direct shot, and will reduce the risk of things from odd angles getting in, as well as protect when the shield is up.

It's definitely a step up from the HF brand I was using before. I like the visibility and adjustability. Not sure why these are so expensive as they are just plastic, but I'm not sorry I bought it.

This shield is AMAZING! I love it. It is now my favorite safety device. I use it for grinding welds or when cutting steel. It's light, easy to adjust, and truthfully, there are time I forget I' wearing it. I love that it covers my entire face, forehead and even part of my neck. I didn't opt for the ant-fogging version, but so far I haven't had any problems with it fogging up on me. As someone who has (foolishly) had bits of metal in an eye, I'm thrilled to have this. I almost look forward to wearing it! :-)

I have been needing a face shield for quite some time for situations where I know I should be using one but don't have one so I was just using safety glasses and hoping for the best! Well I finally decided to purchase one but like with all other products there are usually many to choose from. I decided on this particular face shield based upon all the positive reviews, the looks and features of it which includes the speed dial ratchet headgear system and flip up visor as well as the padded front head band. The clear shield can also be replaced if needed which was a great selling point. I am getting ready for a project which entails cutting some holes in a Conex storage box I recently purchased to install vents, using my grinder with a cutting wheel and definetly want some face protection which this face shield will provide. I will also be able to use this face shield when weed whacking my rural landscape to keep bugs, rocks and weeds from hitting me in the face! I know I made a wise investment in purchasing this face shield and will definetly feel more safe now when needing some face protection for DYI projects requiring it.

Works very well. It was not the cheapest but the quality was worth it. Highly recommend this.

Just a bit of background; I’ve spent 38 years in the trades, all union, all WAAAAY PRO SAFETY, and I must say-I HATED every piece of gear that was pushed on us. Don’t get me wrong, if we wanted something special, we would ALWAYS get it, but it was always a pain in the neck to wear all of the BS gear, just so the companies could cover their a$$ as far as lawsuits and litigation go. I’m now retired, and I purchased this of my own free will, just because, well, I’m old, and you only get two eyes and one face, 😎, but I have ABSOLUTELY got to say that this particular one is the GREATEST piece of safety equipment I’ve ever had, BAR NONE!! It’s no different than wearing a ball cap; it just weighs a few more ounces. I will NEVER do anything even remotely sketchy anymore, let’s be honest, we have ALL done things that were not really that safe, but we have ALL figured “no big deal”, at one time or another; well not anymore, there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to go without eye/face protection anymore!! I would give it a 30, out of 1 - 10, it’s really that damn good!!! Stay safe everyone!

Can be worn over safety goggles and ear protectors. Easily adjusts to fit head and can be swung up to get it out of the way. Easy to clean with a cloth.

I love this face Shield! Clean, comfortable and makes you feel protected better than the typical ones on job sites!

Es una careta de muy buen material, quitándole los protectores por los dos lados se ve muy bien es panorámica la vista, al ser de gran tamaño protege todavía mejor, yo estoy muy expuesto con pacientes y me hace sentir más seguro está careta al cubrirme todavía más, no lástima es muy liviana y cómoda al usa se puede usar varias horas sin problema, muy recomendable

Es una careta de proteccion personal para industria, pero muy comoda. Ajustable a la cabeza. La careta en si se abre y mantiene en 2 o 3 posiciones. Tiene un plastico resistente y se puede ver muy bien. Se puede usar sin problema al mismo tiempo con una Cubre boca o Mascarillao tipo KN95. Buena ventilacion. Yo la use para viajar en avion, y a reuniones con personas.

Polycarbonate plastic for the face shield was visibly clear once protective film was removed from both sides of the visor. Breathable padding in the headgear worn for about an hour did not fog up or fatigue as I went about my work. Very lightweight with high optical clarity and no sweat made this an ideal purchase and ready to create without worry.
