A study of the use of color in film, and of the ways in which color has been theorized, both as a concept and specifically in terms of cinema. Paul Coates unpacks the use of color in a diverse range of films such as All that Heaven Allows , The Wizard of Oz , Three Colours and The Lives of Others , and many more. Review: Don’t waste you money! - Hard to read due to a small font over a grey background. Unbelievable bfi published something with such a bad design, pictures and colours are badly printed. Would be useful to send the buyers a legible digital version with the unreadble paperback.
