Useful bit of kit for an aquarium using CO2, not a perfect way to measure CO2 but good enough to keep your fish safe and your plants growing optimally. Looks good in the tank too.

For the money these are great. Does exactly what it says on the tin.

You could criticise the quality but to be honest, they work and they are cheap. Handy as a two pack for replacing when you are fed up cleaning the existing one. I will buy again. I was looking at the different types/different shapes. But to be honest, the traditional shaped ones are the best.

Works exactly as described and does the job perfectly. One tip I’d give is to take it out every so often and give it a quick clean, as a bit of algae can build up around it over time. That’s not a fault with the product at all, just part of keeping an aquarium. The only thing to note is that it doesn’t come with the solution included, but to be fair that was my mistake as it does clearly say so in the product listing

Purchased as I dropped my old drop checker when cleaning and wanted a quick replacement. Having broken my old one (different brand), having a spare seemed like a good idea! Ordered with prime account so turned up next day. Item was reasonably well packaged and no broken parts. They came in separate boxes, pic just for side by side comparison. 1 does seem bigger than the other and has more of a curve so i have used this one but I imagine these are hand made so not really a surprise they are not a perfect match. That being said, the 2nd one has an ok curve to it so no concerns about trying to get them in the tank without spilling the test liquid, I might just use a little bit less liquid than on the other one. Suction cups work fine. Would buy again if needed but hopefully I don't need to!

They were quite well wrapped in plastic when they came. I was surprised they were glass for the cheaper price, and the suction cups are wedged in tight. They're moderately small, which lets them be hidden easily at the back of the tank. Did not come with instructions or liquid, but it's easy enough to google. Anyway, good product and not a scam.
