Very useful for modifying and cleaning up prints!
I like this tool. Its easier to use than a regular soldeing iron and heats up quick. Comes with a decent selection of tips for different uses. I like that its usb powered but I also admit it is slightly more of a hastle than having a 120v plug. On/off switch is useful as well and it has an indicator light whrn it is powered up. I use mainly PETG and this has been great for cleaning up prints and making modifications (mainly correcting too tight tolerances. Not the cleanest option but for many prints its certainly quicker than reprinting cause I didnt make a screw hole .4mm larger in my design!) Only minor complaint is how the tips screw on. They are for the most part secure but if you are putting a lot of force on the tip they do get loose. Easy enough to tighten with a pair of pliers while is use. The tips and the case they come in are small so be sure to put them someplace they won’t easily be loss (note to manufacturer : a case for this tool and the tips would be an excellent addition!) This is a cheap enough and useful enough tool that every 3d printing enthusiast should have one.
