I have built a number of relatively major electronics projects, and when I'm ordering parts, I invariably end up ordering resistors in way larger quantities than I need, and while I ALWAYS intend to keep the extras sorted and inventoried for the next project, it never actually happens. This is a great solution for that issue. The binder is just the right size to fit on a shelf on a workbench, and it's got all the basic values you'll need for all but the most strange and exotic projects. The organization is also way more useful than the ususal "pen mark on the tape" strategy, and light years beyond picking each resistor up to read the color codes! It's looking now like this one purchase will get me through the next several guitar pedal builds that I have on my horizon. When it runs out, I'll be seeking another!

Absolutely what I needed. I started building guitar pedals a year or so ago and it's a huge hassle to go thru components to find the right values. This solved that problem for resistors, the biggest hassle of them all due to the way they aren't labled. Thank you!

I like these resistors, but they are difficult, if not impossible to read. First, the colors are off, red looks brown. And where did this 5 band color identification come from? Is this China's version? I've been using the 4 band color code for 60 years and this is the first time for the 5 band. On the plus side, the resistors are arranged nicely in an album with individual resealable pockets. There are 15 resistors in a pocket, and a good selection of values, each 1/4 watt. They have to be kept in their pockets so you can tell what the value is.

The binder is neat, keeps things well organized and is a nice change from the plastic boxes I typically see. Can take up a bit more room than the boxes but I don't have a problem with it. It won't hold a ton of each value but I think it's plenty for hobby projects or basic breadboard prototypes. Not bad for the price.

This is the highest quality presentation resistor kit I've seen! Will be easy to maintain in the future, too. This is MUCH better than a kit where all the resistors are in a bunch of little bags and searching is always needed... I recommend this kit.
