i got a deal on craigs list for a pair of bose 700 headphones with worn out cups. the seller had already bought a new pair of headphones because he didn't know the cups could be replaced! so i got a $400 set of headphones that worked perfectly and (other than the cups in awesome condition) for $100, replaced the cups for $20, and got this cable to make it complete.

Item was fine for about a week, but then sound out of the left earphone started crackling and now there's no sound at all. I kept the cable in a case when not in use so I didn't cause the problem. Received refund.
