Women's Fatbaby Heritage Dapper Western Boot

These bison leather booties arrived well packaged and brand new. This pair is a solid peace of craftsmanship. I felt the quality immediately while opening the box. They fit perfectly and were downright comfortable straight out of the box. I was betwixt and between about buying these and put in a good bit of research. In the end, I'm so glad I went ahead and pulled the trigger because these are such good quality and I can see they will last me years as long as I take care of them. I will plan to come back in a few months with updates on sustained comfortability, but for now, after a week or so, the booties are so easy on my feet especially because of the good cushioning on the soles. I like the low rise for my purposes (working in the yard and prairie). The semi-wide ankle shafts are especially good for me because that helps keep my ankles from growing weak over time by relying on boot shaft support. Of course that means I have to use care when placing my foot down, but it's an okay trade-off for my usage purposes. If this pair maintains its comfortability over time I may look into Ariat's safety toed options for industrial work. Good quality workboots are hard to come by these days. Nice looking, good quality workbooks are even more rare. I love that I found these. My feet are narrow with regular arches and narrow ankles.

I loveeeee these boots!! So comfy and I like the height of them too, my calves are on the bigger side so it’s often hard for me to find cowboy boots that fit the calf. Great solid boots no complaints def want another color!

I really wasn’t sure what to expect. My last two pairs of boots have been Ariat and overall I’ve found them comfortable, long-lasting, and well-fitting... after a break-in period. Like most boots. Which is miserable! Getting boots to form to your feet (hurting your teeth and bearing through the discomfort, wetting them down multiple times, etc) is no picnic, but it’s worth it once it has been done. But those were regular boots, one pair of square toed with roper heels, one pair with slightly tapered toes ending in a small square, with a riding heel. I still wear both, FYI. Haven’t worn either out yet. But, I’ve never had Fat Baby boots. Depending on the shoe, I wear anything from 10-11, often 10.5 in sneakers and hiking boots, but usually 10 in riding boots. Recently bought a pair of Ariat slip-ons that are very cute and comfortable too! These boots were no exception, but the biggest bonus right out of the box is that they were comfortable!! I wore them for driving and walking around and they already felt like they fit. This is just day one, so time will tell, but so far they fit, they feel good, and they’re cute too. I even feel like I would be comfortable working on my feet in them all day, even sorting cattle in an alley or working them through a chute, and that I’d feel stable on my feet while doing it, without the heels throwing me off. That’s something I can’t say of most boots, even the ones I love. I also thought they might look clunky on my big feet but not so, they’re really nice. Really happy I decided to finally give this style a try!!

I wear a 7.5 shoe for most brands/styles, but I ordered up a half size just in case I might prefer a looser fit for jeans or larger socks. I'm returning the boots, but only to re-order them true to size. Even in their too-large state, they are stylish and comfortable. There was a momentary temptation to keep them in the wrong size just so I woldn't have to wait for their correctly sized replacements. My only note is that the toe box - even in this larger size - felt slightly snug on the first wear. However, as is always the case with leather, I expect that to sort itself out with continued use. I would recommend these boots for style, comfort, price point. I'm looking forward to wearing them in the correct size and, if you never see an update from me, I continued to love them at the true size.

Really liked the boots, but they were too big

Beautifully comfortable as well as very pretty. The wide width is perfect! More room than I am used to, AND will help while I am corrective barefoot trimming out there. In the past 3 months my feet have been stepped on at least 5 times. Fast ship, boots were NOT packed in a different box than manufacturers box and I requested it would be, but Amazon delivery hid the package well. I am happy. I am adding mink oil to protect the seems from stretching and ripping right now!

This is my 3rd pair of these very same boots in 4 years. I love them. I buy them for work, but I'm actually going to buy another (4th pair) to keep for nice.

Exactly what I wanted it love them

Very good quality boot, well made and easy on the eye but they are a very wide fitting and are not available in half sizes which means we had to buy a 6 instead of a 5 1/2 so thick socks needed. Easy to get on and off due to wide fitting, they have a squarish toe to the boot and not rounded so if you don't like a less rounded toe they may not be for you. overall a very well made comfortable boot.

It’s my 4th pair of Ariats, and the 3rd of Fatbabies. I had 2 other pairs that I wore on a daily basis, but decided to leave them behind when I moved from another country (I still regret it, they looked old but still wearable). I’m a solid 10 with a somewhat wide shoe and got them in 10. They rubbed a little bit on my ankle on the first day, and that was it. Easy to put on and off, thanks to the side loops. From my previous experience they age up beautifully, and the quality is superb - not a single loose thread. They look adorable and go with everything (I’m a cattle girl at heart, so maybe that’s why I think so). A friend gave me a hard time about them, saying that sneakers are more comfortable, but not to me - I’d rather do anything wearing them, even running, than wearing any other shoe.

Beautiful boots. Perfect fit. High quality leather. Exceptionally comfortable! Possibly the best footwear I’ve ever had.

Beautiful boot. The boot colour is off from what is pictured. The only major complaint i have is i truly believe these boots were opened and used. The paper wasnt inside the boots and the boots had scuffs on the toes. One side worse than the other.
