Does this work well digging on dirt with rocks?

I highly recommend a digging bar for any post hole digger! I used to work for a municipality, and even they would use a bar for loosening tough soil.

how do you claim the life time warranty on this product?

Contact Fiskars directly. I actually wore one out and contacted them and within a week they had sent me a new one Free, no questions asked. The part that wore out was the joint.
