The more slender sliced craft knife is best for colored pencil painting
Although these go dull rather quickly when you're using them on drafting film, they work quite well. It's always good to have a few extra blades handy when you're drawing everyday. I tried using the slightly bulkier Slice cutting tool, but could not maneuver it in my hands. I found that the more slender and longer craft knife by slice works much better for me. I think this is because my fingers are long and skinny and my hands are very big.

My go to for thicker paper
I’m a collage artist and I always reach for my Slice blades when I want to cut thicker material. It’s harder to get right up against the edge for more detailed cuts (hence the 4 stars), but it’s still soooo much easier to work with than the standard #11 metal blades I use for thinner materials like LIFE magazines.

Excellent blades when it comes to sharpness longevity and non-conductive ...
Excellent blades when it comes to sharpness longevity and non-conductive use with electrical equipment. **HOWEVER** - Please be very careful *not* to bend the blades, or apply pressure sideways (as in, trying to pry something open) -- this may cause the extremely brittle ceramic material to shatter, which is //NOT// a pleasant experience and could potentially put an eye out. This is common sense advice, I know, but it never hurts to hear (or read) a reminder.

Love the Slice products
Does not cut skin like metal blades, but performs awesome on tape, boxes, and balsa.

Good but not great.
They don't seem as sharp as the ceramic blades they include when you buy a whole knife.
